Monday, April 12
• 8:07 a.m. — The doors to the Hindi Shell Station were vandalized, according to 911 dispatch logs.
• 10 a.m. — Graffiti was found on the side of the Española Recreation Center.
• 1:31 p.m. — Two males were fighting at Española Elementary, a caller reported. They were separated and sent to the principal’s office while waiting for an officer.
• 3:49 p.m. — A caller told police his car was followed earlier that day near Dandy Burger, and he heard what sounded like a loud shot coming from the car.
• 6:30 p.m. — Española Police took a report in which a man threw around a woman and broke windows at a Calle Vigil residence.
• 7 p.m. — State Police were notified about a vehicle that was vandalized on Rio Arriba County Road 87. There were burn holes inside the vehicle and bags with possible cocaine residue were inside.
• 7:02 p.m. — An Española Valley High School student was threatened by another student and was told that she would be put “in a coma.”
• 9:37 p.m. — Someone kicked in a door to a Sandy Lane residence and stole $200, a caller reported.
• 10 p.m. — A man cut the right side of his throat with a knife, but left the residence on State Road 74 before deputies arrived, dispatch logs state.

• 1:36 a.m. — A trailer hitch was reportedly stolen but later recovered in the parking lot of the Santa Claran Casino Hotel.
• 3:59 p.m. — A caller told Española Police he had been shot by a child with a pellet gun on North McCurdy Road.
• 4:58 p.m. — A Jo Ann’s Restaurant caller reported receiving threatening phone calls from a man.
• 8:16 p.m. — State Police were told that a man jumped over a brick wall on State Road 76 and began hitting a vehicle with a baseball bat.
• 9:28 p.m. — Española Police broke up a domestic dispute in the parking lot of the Ohkay Casino.

Wednesday, April, 14
• 9:08 p.m. — A caller told dispatch a vehicle was broken into on County Road 140 and suspects removed the radio.
• 9:20 a.m. — The power went out at San Juan Elementary, causing the fire alarm to go off, logs state.
• 10:13 a.m. — McCurdy School employees reported an 18-year-old male was caught with alcohol. While in the office, he grabbed the bag containing the liquor and fled in a vehicle.
• 2:46 p.m. — Española Police took a report about someone who attempted to steal a vehicle parked at Rent-A-Center.
• 3:02 p.m. — Walgreens employees reported someone dropped off a fake prescription for Percocet.
• 3:36 p.m. — A North Riverside Drive caller reported that her ex-husband was chasing her. He eventually left, she said.
• 4:22 p.m. — Someone stole four packs of cigarettes from Valley Superette.
• 4:24 p.m. — Walmart employees reported they had one of their own employees in custody on allegations of embezzlement.
• 9:58 p.m. — Dispatch took a call about someone who had a gun and was talking about killing himself. Police were unable to locate the suicidal individual.
• 10:10 p.m. — A County Road 92 caller said his daughter was outside throwing rocks at the house and he wanted her to leave.

Thursday, April 15
• 12:24 a.m.— A vehicle struck the side of McCurdy School, damaging the wall and landscape, according to a call log.
• 2:10 a.m. — A caller near Lowe’s Super Save reported a car was following her and throwing things out of the window.
• 8:02 a.m. — The window to the counselor’s office at Española Elementary had been broken, according to a call log.
• 8:16 a.m. — Police searched the locker of a male student at Mesa Vista High School and found a stick ball-and-chain.
• 11:53 a.m. — A bomb threat was reported at Northern New Mexico College’s Española campus. Police left the scene a little after 1 p.m. without finding a bomb.
• 12:16 p.m. — Someone who rented a room at the Western Holiday Motel left and took the copper tubing pipes in the room with him, according to motel staff.
• 2:02 p.m. — A State Road 567 caller told State Police someone stole a quarter mile of fence posts from his property.
• 6:53 p.m. — A caller complained that his neighbors were being loud and breaking windows.

• 1:53 a.m. — A County Road 56A caller reported a vehicle dropped off a suspicious-looking man and then the caller heard a gunshot.
• 7:01 a.m. — Deputies took a report from someone on Private Drive 1330 who said his sister was cursing at him and “did not want to stop harassing him.”
• 12:18 p.m. — A Lyden caller told State Police it seemed like a vehicle had been pushed over a cliff and a bullet hole was in it.
• 12:27 p.m. — A male caller said his brother was on State Road 233 near Highway 84 when a woman in a silver car threatened him with a supposedly loaded gun.
• 2:03 p.m. — A McCurdy School caller said a principal had caught an eighth-grade student with a pipe and pills.
• 4:07 p.m. — A Riverside Drive caller reported a fight involving 10 men.
• 4:51 p.m. — A man calling from Walmart’s parking lot said a vehicle was following him around. He said someone got out of the vehicle and punched him in the face.
• 5:29 p.m. — A County Road 1 caller reported a neighbor was firing a gun on his property. Police said the shooter was within his rights.

• 4:06 a.m. — Española Police responding to a call about a domestic dispute involving an intoxicated woman were told to tow a man’s car after he used it to try to block police in.
• 12:55 p.m. — A caller said a telephone pole was on fire behind the Pinch Penny Wash-O-Mat. A wire came down from the pole and was sparking against a trash can.
• 1:52 p.m. — Animal Control officers were notified about someone giving away puppies from a truck at Walmart.

Sunday, April 18
• 3:05 a.m. — Several people were fighting in the middle of North Riverside Drive in front of Red’s Tavern and Liquour Store.
• 3:25 p.m. — Several females were fighting in front of Center Market, a caller reported. A man also reported another man was throwing rocks.
• 4:53 p.m. — Police stopped an intoxicated man who was urinating along the side of State Road 68 and waited around until he called for a ride home.
• 4:58 p.m. — A male driver on North Riverside Drive picked up a hitchhiker and began to argue with her when he noticed his cell phone was missing. While investigating the call, police transported the woman to the Española Hospital because she had a large “bubble” on her hand where she allegedly had been shooting heroin.
