Small Schools Turn in State-Qualifying Times

(SUNfoto by George Morse) Dulce’s Kyetil Vicenti clears the bar in the high jump event at the Jemez Valley Invitational track and field meet March 19 at Jemez. Vicenti cleared a state-qualifying height of five feet at Jemez and finished second to Pecos’ Yeshemebet Turner. Vicenti has also qualified for state in the javelin and won the shot put at Jemez. The Dulce junior has placed sixth or higher in the high jump at state since she was an eighth-grader.
