(SUNfoto by George Morse) A.J. Sanchez, of Albuquerque, who was visiting his grandfather Sammy Sanchez in Ojo Sarco, smiles as he picks up a box full of groceries at the Ojo Sarco Community Center Food Bank June 8 at the Center. The Food Bank provided groceries for 40 households and is held Wednesdays of every week. The Center is due to have the title on its building revert back to the Center from Rio Arriba County, but the building is presently uninsurable. The Center hopes that $50,000 in reauthorized capital outlay funds from the 2011 state legislature will be used to bring the building up to code and then they can proceed with adding a second room for classes and provide Internet access for the community.
