(SUNfoto by George Morse) “Bubs” Salinas (top), Jenae Velarde and Denajah Romero enjoy swinging on a tire in the playground at the Family Learning Center on Paseo de Oñate in Española. The Center offers a preschool summer program for youths ages 3 to 5 and another preschool program during the school year. There are 24 students in the summer program. The Center also has a summer program for kindergarten through sixth-grade students, as well as before- and after-school programs during the school year for older students.
