Flor Sylvestre Leija de Avila, 52, Española, died Sunday, March 25, 2012.
Ms. Leija de Avila is survived by her husband Roberto; children, Claudia, Evelynne, Elizavet, Adrie and Ruth; siblings, Rosa, Jose Ernesto, Alma Leticia, Luciano and Jose.
A wake was held March 29 in the Chapel of Peace at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral service were held March 30 at New Hope Church in El Llano, Burial followed at Lighthouse Cemetery in Chimayo with Adam, Dorian, Abram and Jesse Avila serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Julio Avila and Edgar Santos.
