3-Pointers Rain downOn Nothern’s Eagles

(SUNfoto by George Morse) Northern New Mexico College’s Orlando Echave has the ball knocked out of his hands as he tries to go up for a shot against Valley City State in the Eagles 82-67 loss to the Vikings Dec. 16 in Española. It was Northern’s first conference game. The Vikings are ranked 15th in the nation in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. Northern falls to 4-13 on the season.
