(SUNfoto by Jeff Tucker) Rio Arriba County Commissioner Alfredo Montoya said at a May 16 Commission meeting that he favors ending door-to-door trash collection in many parts of the County. No other New Mexico county collects trash door to door the way Rio Arriba does, he said, calling the service a fiscal "bottomless pit." Commissioner Barney Trujillo disagreed, saying he strongly believes in the service. The third commissioner, Danny Garcia, said he leans toward maintaining it.
