‘Generous’ Sheep Came North with Oñate

(SUNfoto by George Morse) Molly Manzanares tries to coax a recalcitrant lamb to drink from a bottle. The lamb finally got the hang of it. Lambs are sometimes orphaned by the loss of their mother or the mothers won’t feed them. Then they have to be bottle-fed. Molly was raised on a ranch and is better on a horse then most men, according to husband Antonio Manzanares.
