Sundevils Pick up 11 Wrestlers, Return Seven Veterans to Squad

(SUNfoto by George Morse) Española Valley seniors Santiago Quintana (front), Lorenzo Montoya and Florian Castillo (top) work out Dec. 2 in the wrestling room at Española Valley High School. Castillo placed fourth last season in the 160-pound weight class at the Class AAAA state wrestling meet. Montoya is the third of three brothers who have competed for Española and Quintana is looking to win the 220-pound weight class at state. The Española wrestling team competes at Rio Rancho Friday and Saturday.
