(SUNfoto by George Morse) Española Valley High School’s Tina Trujillo escaped being caught in a rundown between third base and home plate against Capital High School April 23 at Española. Trujillo scored the game-ending run in the Sundevils’ 15-0 victory over the Jaguars. The Sundevils fell to 20th in the Class AAAA state softball rankings Monday and their chances of making the Class AAAA state tournament are slim. Española wraps up its regular season hosting Bernalillo in a doubleheader Saturday.
