Councilor opens plastic bag ban talk

(SUNfoto by R. Braiden Trapp) Española City Councilor Eric Radosevich, at an April 22 city council meeting, brought up the topic of banning plastic shopping bags. He said the drive from Española to Taos is populated by bags hanging off “every cactus.” These bags were clinging to a fence and weeds just north of Ohkay Owingeh. It was just a discussion. No action was taken.
