Former Braves coach heads to the Valley

(SUNfoto by George Morse) New Española Valley High School girls basketball coach Cindy Roybal addressed an audience of players and their parents July 20 at Española’s gym. Roybal is a 37-year veteran of the coaching wars, having done stints at Santa Fe Indian School, Pojoaque High School and New Mexico Highlands University during her career. She led Indian School to consecutive Class AAA state championships in 2010 and 2011.
