Northern All-Stars get stomped

(SUNfoto by George Morse) Escalante High School’s Norman Salazar muscles up a shot inside against Dora’s Dylan Privett in the North’s 79-54 loss to the South in the Class 1A-1B North-South All-Star game July 31 at West Mesa High School in Albuquerque. Salazar scored nine points, sinking three three-pointers in the second half. The South led 41-19 at halftime and Privett scored 14 points to lead all scorers. Escalante’s Cody Casados played for the North, which was coached by Escalante’s Bill Russom.
