Bull rider scores at County event

(SUNfoto by George Morse) Wyatt Terrazas ended up underneath this bull during “Bull Madness” at the Rio Arriba County Rural Event Center Aug. 1 at the Rio Arriba County Fair. He escaped without injury, but two bull riders weren’t so lucky during the event. Raymond Salinas, of La Madera, got stepped on by his bull and La Mesilla’s Antonio Maez caught a horn to the head. Both were not seriously injured, but banged up. Only Marcos Trujillo stayed on his bull the required eight seconds.
