Flames consume a trailer in Arroyo Seco, where 20,000 rounds of ammunition were being stored by a gun dealer. Española firefighters responded, providing mutual aid, but had to take a defensive posture because of the exploding ammunition. Firefighters tried to get the ladder truck to the fire, to fight it from above, but there were no fire hydrants close enough for the ladder truck to get a constant supply of water.
