Peñasco Aiming for Title Return

Peñasco’s Bianca Contreras attempts a shot near the basket during the Lady Panthers 64-23 win over Escalante in the semifinal of the District 5-2A tournament Feb. 27 at Jicarita Gymnasium. Contreras has come alive as of late in the scoring department, as she has averaged 15.1 points per game over the last 10. She scored 20-plus points on three of those occasions.
