‘Woke’ Agenda Hurting Country

We have become unanchored.

I know most of us consider Marxism as something being out of history books and a thing of the past, so let’s look at it by another name, and in another light; the light of equality and how woke idealism divides us. I call this American Marxism.

Our modern society is becoming unanchored from our constitutional foundations which made us the freest, greatest and most prosperous nation on earth.

It is old news and most of us are aware of the Feb. 3 train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio. Our secretary of transportation, Pete Buttigieg, considered it just another event in his busy personal schedule and ignored the needs of the people it affected.

Instead of quickly visiting East Palestine, on Feb. 13, Mayor Pete voiced concerns that infrastructure jobs in urban areas largely go to white workers from “other neighborhoods.” His comments purposely divide us racially.

Last summer, when Los Angeles harbor was backed up with ships waiting to unload, Pete was on a two-month paternity leave with his husband, Chasten. He was too busy to care about fixing the broken supply chain.

This last month, MX Sam Brinton, the LGBTQ activist and trans-dresser who was deputy secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Office of Nuclear Energy, was fired after committing two counts of luggage theft at airports. MX Brinton is a nuclear engineer, but he was probably hired because he is a sharp dresser.

These are examples of those in charge of our government selecting public servants based on their sexual orientation and woke ideology to show us how well equity, diversity and inclusion work.

On the federal level, the woke agendas are coupled to power and authority. You will accept this, or else, and if you complain you could be a bigot. This is a culture war imposed on the nation.

Government’s control over education seems to be committed to indoctrinating our youngest in obedience. U.S. Centers for Disease and Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Rochelle Walensky just told Congress that the mask mandates in schools would remain regardless of continuing reports or new evidence from the scientific community that masks were ineffective in preventing the spread of COVID-19.

Her edict ignores the Cochrane Review which includes 78 peer-reviewed randomized controlled trials with 600,000 participants, demonstrating their ineffectiveness. Control those kids and keep them masked, when we say so. Irrational obedience is the future.

Here in New Mexico our legislature is in session and it seems not much is different locally. The Democrat sponsored HB 470 revises our DWI code, changing the wording of “pregnant woman” to “pregnant person.” Never mind that only a woman can get pregnant. The woke word change is required.

It is often said, “No man’s life, liberty, or property are safe while the Legislature is in session.” When you review the bills speeding through our legislature and mostly on a partisan vote, you will understand that elections definitely have their consequences.

Our local politicians want to impose laws on us that originate from a national agenda and not organically from local need or from the will of the local people.

During this session, the anti-gun lobby has presented eleven bills to restrict the rights of legal gun owners. Locally, you can thank Linda Serrato (D-HD45) and Andrea Romero (D-HD46) who sponsored two bills.

HB-100 calls for a 14-day waiting period before being allowed to take possession of a firearm purchase or trade, despite passing the FBI background check.

HB-101 bans magazines holding more than ten rounds, some semi-automatic pistols and rifles they refer to as assault weapons and semi-automatic shotguns with “a fixed magazine capacity in excess of five rounds.”

These are not laws that represent the will of most New Mexicans.  They are part of a wider agenda to disarm Americans and for that matter, the entire world.

The Second Amendment is not about hunting or shooting sports. It is included in the Bill of Rights as, and I quote, “being necessary to the security of the free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed,”

There is no question about it; in today’s world, if you stand up for freedom ideals, you come under assault. Many run from this fight, but our founders rejected the divine rights of kings.  They gave the power to govern to us, the people who in turn loan governance at the polls to those whom we elect to make up the government. They are entrusted to protect and preserve our rights.

The agendas afoot today from those in power are meant to divide us on many fronts and force compliance into a reordered society, ruled by an exceptional class of governors. We are adrift from our constitutional anchor.

If you are not happy with the way things are going, the next time you vote, you may want to seriously consider a couple of things — the agenda of the politician for whom you are voting, and who funds their campaign. You can bet that paid for agendas talk louder than we the people.
