Nativity scenes
“The San Gabriel Historical Society at the Bond House, invites the public to join them for a
celebration of the season, featuring nativity scenes from around the world, from noon to 4 p.m., beginning Saturday through Jan. 6, 2024. Admission is free.
Los Matachines de Alcalde
Los Matachine de Alcalde will perform at 2 p.m., Dec. 26 at the Capilla de San Antonio in Alcalde. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m.
They will also perform following the 10 a.m. Dec. 27 mass at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. A comida (meal) will be held at the Alcalde Community Center after the performance.
The final performance will be at 3 p.m. Dec. 27 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, with a rosary at 6 p.m.
