Española Police were investigating a shooting Friday morning that occurred in Pajarito. Police Chief Mizel Garcia said one man was shot in the neck and abdomen and was flown to The University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque. Garcia did not know his condition. He said detectives were securing two scenes — one in Pajarito, the other at Dandy’s Burgers. Check back for more information on this developing story.

Crime scene tape was put up Friday morning around a white Infiniti car in the Dandy Burger parking lot, as Española detectives investigated a shooting in Pajarito earlier in the morning.
