ALICE S. GALLEGOS,
age 86, of Española died on July 16, 2009.
Ms. Gallegos is preceded in death by her parents Juan and Josefita Gallegos, and brothers; Gilbert, Ross and Orlando Gallegos. Alice is survived by her sisters; Emma Gragg of California, Annita Blankenship of Española, Helen Fletcher and husband Jim of Albuquerque and Dora Cobb of El Guique, brother; Ralph Gallegos of El Guique, nieces; Kathy, Debbie, Loretta, Pam, Linda and Josie, nephews; Gilbert, Chester, Charles, Ron, Greg, Gary, John, Jerry, Donald, Paul and Tiger. Recitation of the rosary was held on Sunday, July 19 at 7:00 PM in the Chapel at Block-Salazar Mortuary. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday morning at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church at Ohkay Owingeh, interment followed at the El Guique community cemetery.
