Barbara Beach, 61, Chama, died Friday, June 12, 2009.
Mrs. Beach and her husband, David, were married right after high school graduation in 1965. She was a lifelong resident of Chama and was affiliated with the restaurant business for four years. She managed and operated the Branding Iron in Chama. She loved music and was an avid dancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Stock and Violet Shoemaker; brother, Fritz Stock, and sister, Elsie Vaughn.
Mrs. Beach is survived by her husband David Beach, Chama; sons, Jody Beach, Rio Rancho; Kirt Beach, Nevada; daughters, Winnona Eversgerd, Nevada; Yvonne Lupcho, Farmington, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held June 16 at the First Baptist Church in Chama.
