Beverly Romero, 49, Truchas, died Monday, July 20, 2009. She was preceded in death by her father, Juan S. Romero; brothers, Ron and James Romero.
Ms. Romero is survived by her sons, Matthew Romero, Albuquerque and Sebastian and Andrew Abeyta, both of Chimayo; mother, Donna Romero, Albuquerque; brother, Delbert Romero, Truchas; sisters, Sylvia Campos, Santa Fe; Michelle Casaus, Albuquerque and Laurel Romero, Española and numerous relatives and friends.
A rosary was recited July 24 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated July 25 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Truchas. Burial followed at Los Llanitos Catholic Cemetery in Truchas.
