From a press release

The Bureau of Land Management has withdrawn its blanket moratorium on solar energy development on Western public lands.

On May 29, the Bureau had announced that it would stop reviewing applications for new solar power projects in six Western states, including New Mexico, for as much as two years while it conducted an environmental assessment. But on July 2, the Bureau said it will continue to consider solar-energy applications on a case-by-case basis.
