A story titled “1 Dead After Late Night Car Crash” that was published in the Nov. 13 edition of the Rio Grande SUN incorrectly featured a photo of a crashed car. The car was involved in a crash with another vehicle in a separate incident that occured at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 10. The car in the photo did not hit Ernesto Ybarra and was not involved in the man’s death. We apologize to the families of those involved in these two incidents.
CORRECTION
Officers investigate a car crash around 9:30 p.m. Monday night in Ohkay Owingeh. The car pictured was not involved in the death of pedestrian Ernesto Ybarra, who was hit by a vehicle around midnight on State Road 68.
