Daniel Quintana was being held at Rio Arriba County Jail on charges of residential burglary and larceny, not Mary Alice Herrera, as stated in the story. It was also Quintana, not Herrera, who pleaded guilty to burglary on a household member in 2007, and the other charges mentioned in the story, according to an online court records database.
