Chenee Pacheco, of El Guique, has graduated from Marine basic training at Parris Island, S.C.
Pacheco is a 2008 graduate of Española Valley High School. She is the daughter of Eddie Pacheco, of Pueblo, Colo., and Margaret Mondragon, of Red Cliff, Colo. and the adopted granddaughter of Henry and Soraida Pacheco, of El Guique.
Pacheco now returns to North Carolina for additional infantry training.
