Española educators John Reese and Lucille Martinez-Holguín are part of a 35-member delegation representing New Mexico at the National Education Association’s 147th annual meeting Wednesday (7/1) through July 6 in San Diego, Calif.
The meeting will also host the Association’s 88th Representative Assembly. With over 9,000 delegates, the Assembly is the world’s largest democratic, deliberative body.
During the annual meeting, Assembly delegates debate issues affecting public education, elect officers and set policy.
