Lucia A. Martinez, 86, Chama, died in Espanola June 17, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Salomon Lucero in 1971, her second husband, Ubaldo Martinez in 1994 and two sons, Eddie Lucero and Raymond Lucero.
Mrs. Martinez is survived by her children; Pasty Lucero, Chama; Sadie Lucero and Carla Lucero, both of Los Ojos; Diana Wilson, Rio Rancho; Joe Lucero, Las Vegas, Nev.; Manuel Lucero, Clarence Lucero and Gerald Lucero, all of Henderson Nev.; 26 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Recitation of the rosary was held June 22 at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Chama. The Mass of Christian Celebration was held June 23 also at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Chama Community Cemetery.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Raymond Lucero, Rupert Rael, Patrick Lucero, Anthony Lucero, Felix Lucero, Daniel Russom III, Gregory Wilson and Johnny Real.
