The Pojoaque Pueblo Boys and Girls Club graduated 25 members May 21 from its first year of the Miracles Academy.
The Club was one of five clubs chosen nationwide to participate in the pilot program, and members dedicated 10 hours per week to academics, technology, careers and leadership studies. Members participated in two Lego robotics competitions — FIRST Lego League and RoboRAVE International — and five digital arts festivals. They also engaged in academic tutoring and leadership and community projects throughout the school year.
