Tell Me a Story

The Rio Arriba Adult Literacy Program presents “Tell Me a Story!” The Power of Storytelling, Workshops with Gino Brazil. Join in for a free workshop where community members will have the opportunity to continue the tradition of creating, writing and sharing cuentos (short stories), myths, legends and personal narratives. The workshop is from 5:30-7 p.m. Feb. 29. Seats are limited so call 505-753-8814 or email read@raalp.org to sign up for the event.

 

Curious About Your Family Tree?

Local Genealogist Dennis Tiede was at the Bond Museum every Wednesday in January from 12-4. It was so popular that it’s being extending through February. He will meet with participants and will guide them on a path to know more about their heritage. It is free.
