Return of the Prowler
Monday, June 15
• 7:06 a.m. — A State Road 115 caller said a prowler was looking around in their yard. The caller said the man was from Las Cruces and went around their house all the time. He couldn’t be found.
• 9:33 a.m. — A Rio Arriba County Road 131 caller said a man, who had been thrown out of his house, was trying to re-enter the home through a window.
• 10:29 p.m. — A Paseo Melendez caller said a woman with a plastic bag in her hand was trying to jump the fence into her neighbor’s yard. No report was taken.

To Damage Car
Tuesday, June 16
• 12:07 a.m. — A Paseo de Paulina caller said her 16-year-old son was out of control, yelling and throwing their neighbors’ trash cans. She said he was upset because she would not let him stay out with some friends.
• 12:23 a.m. — A North Orchard Drive caller said someone went crazy and busted up his car with a gold club. Police took a report.
• 5:52 p.m. — A caller said a man shot at him for causing a wave on Navajo Lake near Farmington, which is a no-wake lake. The call was directed to State Police in Gallup.

Wednesday, June 17
• 9:37 a.m. — A caller said a piece of surveying equipment was stolen from the side of a road in Alcalde.
• 11:47 a.m. — A caller said a man standing near the McDonald’s drive-in was selling a stolen DVD player and shirts. When police arrived the alleged vendor had nothing on him but was dispersed from the area.
• 11:51 a.m. — A State Road 68 caller said some people were removing dirt from her boyfriend’s land. Police determined that the group was taking dirt to fill potholes in the road caused by bad weather and advised them not to do that.
• 3:22 p.m. — A caller said she believed her new tenant was selling drugs. She said she had told the tenant she didn’t want a lot of people going through the driveway and there had been several cars going in and out on a daily basis. Police found the allegations to be unfounded.
• 5:04 p.m. — A caller said he was taking notes at Walgreens when a man knocked his hat off his head and kicked him in the buttocks. The caller was being uncooperative, and he was detoxed.
• 5:27 p.m. — A Movie Gallery employee said a man was walking around the store for 30 minutes asking people for their cell phone. He was dispersed.
• 10:10 p.m. — An Española Hospital caller said a patient wearing a hospital gown with an IV in her arm and suffering some type of infection walked out of the hospital. Police assisted hospital staff.

Thursday, June 18
• 9:19 p.m. — A Giant gas station employee said he thought some people in a gray Dodge truck were exchanging drugs. Police didn’t locate any criminal activity.
• 9:21 p.m. — A Tsigo Bugeh Road caller said she was unloading her laundry when some guys fired fireworks near her and then laughed. Police advised them if they wanted to shoot fireworks to do it in a non-residential area.
• 9:58 p.m. — A caller said he wanted his girlfriend’s daughter removed from the house because she was drunk. The drunk woman was dropped off at Tortilla Flats for the night.

Friday, June 19
• 4:36 p.m. — A caller said his boat fell off his trailer and his trailer wasn’t operable. Police assisted him.
• 9:00 p.m. — A caller said a man woke him up to tell him they were driving by Sacred Heart Catholic Church and saw the rectory door open. There was broken glass and stuff thrown all over.
• 9:10 p.m. — A caller said she just bought a South Coronado Avenue property that was filled with syringes and appeared to have been used as a shooting gallery. She requested police patrol the area until she could erect an 8-foot fence with barbed wire.
• 9:11 p.m. — An Allsup’s caller said some hoodlums were acting like they were going to fight. They were dispersed.
• 11:18 p.m. A County Road 131 caller said he shot three dogs that had attacked animals on his property.

Saturday, June 20
• 1:25 a.m. — A County Road 41 caller said a man became irate, followed her and her husband home and then left the area. 911 dispatchers advised the caller that 911 is for life-threatening emergencies only, and he should call on a non-emergency number. “Male reporting party started screaming and cussing at me, I had to yell and raise my voice several times to get through to him,” the dispatcher recorded in logs.
• 12:55 p.m. — A caller said a man in front of La Tiendita store was running across lanes of traffic trying to get a car to hit him, all the while laughing and flipping off everyone.
•1:41 p.m. — A Loma Vista Road caller said she took her wedding rings off and put them on the kitchen table, when a woman who was helping her stole them.
• 8:50 p.m. — A caller said he went to drop off mail at the Fairview Post Office and noticed the mailbox was smoking and smelled like gunpowder. Firefighters determined it was a smoke bomb.

• 2:35 a.m. — A Ramsey Road caller said people at a party at her house refused to leave when she asked them.
• 9:01 a.m. — A former San Pedro Sonic employee said she wanted an officer present when she picked up her last paycheck.
