Police Blotter: Dixon Man Takes Peeping to a Whole New Level

12:49 a.m. A caller said her son was assaulted, called a rat and had his truck stolen. A BOLO was issued for the vehicle.

7:32 a.m. A man stole donuts from Allsups and an employee wanted to file a report.

8:15 a.m. A hit-and-run was reported at Food King.

10:30 a.m. A caller said her phone was stolen yesterday from Walmart but she didn’t realize it until the store was closed. She tracked it to the kiosk in the store.

12:54 p.m. A report was taken at Española Valley High School because a teacher was instigating fights with students.

1:43 p.m. A woman was threatening employees at Goodwill and giving them a hard time.

2:13 p.m. A Calle de las Yuccas caller said he isn’t home, but can see his neighbor taking parts off his truck.

2:40 p.m. A Dollar Tree in Española caller requested the homeless outside be dispersed because everyone is afraid.

3 p.m. Two underage drivers with no driver’s licenses were pulled over in Medanales. 

3:52 p.m. A Chimayó caller returned home to find their living room door damaged.

6:08 p.m. An off-duty deputy was involved in a fight in Hernandez.

7:18 p.m. A man on a bicycle was taking items from a home in Chimayó.

10:07 p.m. A man in the Taco Bell parking lot was yelling and using vulgar language.

6:54 a.m. A homeless man was refusing to leave the McDonald’s drive-thru area.

7:49 a.m. A man’s death was reported in Velarde.

8:52 a.m. A Tesuque Court caller said his neighbor’s dog bit him and chased him this morning. He said if animal control doesn’t handle it, he’s going to “blast the dog, himself.”

8:57 a.m. A caller on U.S. 285 reported the neighbor might be sexually assaulting animals and they wanted to file a report. They were transferred to Taos County.

9:02 a.m. A man’s death was reported on Avenida Cañada.

10:37 a.m. A Hernandez caller said two people were trying to break into mailboxes.

10:45 a.m. An overdose was reported on Pine Avenue in Chama. Narcan was administered.

11:45 a.m. A walk-in report for a stolen gun and coins was taken at the sheriff’s office.

2:13 p.m. Santa Clara police officers found a man on East Laguna Street passed out and completely nude.

3:37 p.m. A Tierra Amarilla caller said his brother stole his identity and opened two credit cards in his name a month ago.

5:40 p.m. A North Coronado Avenue caller reported her uncle threatened her.

7:45 p.m. A man in a car at Speedway was unconscious. A caller tried to wake him and he finally left.

11:36 p.m. An overdose was reported at Lowe’s Home Improvement. Narcan was administered.

9:44 a.m. A woman’s death was reported in El Rito.

11:05 a.m. A caller said his license plate was stolen from his vehicle in the Lowe’s Home Improvement parking lot.

12:03 p.m. Four people were found in an abandoned house on Ash Loop.

12:32 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a person passed out in an SUV on Paseo de Paulina and Corlett Road. They tried to wake them by honking but were unsuccessful.

2:02 p.m. An overdose was reported at Gallegos Scrap Metal.

2:14 p.m. A 5-month-old baby fell off a bed at a home in Medanales and the parents were having difficulty keeping the child awake.

3 p.m. A Community School Road caller said someone stole his turtle.

3:47 p.m. A caller reported having a disagreement with her 14-year-old son. The boy left and sent a text saying he’s not going home.

4:17 p.m. A caller said he was giving a woman a ride and she took his keys.

4:39 p.m. A Chimayó caller reported his godfather hit him with a broomstick.

4:46 pm. A Villa del Norte Apartments caller said the neighbor purposely scratched her own vehicle, then blamed the caller.

5:35 p.m. A caller reported four children were shooting a BB gun at the skate park.

5:41 p.m. A man got into a fight at the Ohkay RV Park and had trauma to the head.

6:28 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on two little boys lying in the road on County Road 39 and State Road 68 in Velarde.

9:21 p.m. A Tortilla Flats caller said her friend’s mom assaulted him and his child.

1:02 p.m. A Villa del Norte Apartments caller reported the neighbor is harassing her, taking photos of her truck and still accusing her of scratching her vehicle.

1:52 p.m. A Fairview Lane caller said two homeless people are camped out next to his house.

1:52 p.m. A Cook’s Mobile Home Park caller reported her son was high yesterday and asked her for money, but she refused. He returned and slashed her tires and damaged her vehicle.

2:06 p.m. A Bubble Zone caller said a man is in the business with a gun on his hip. He’s not being hostile, he’s just putting his clothes in the dryer.

2:42 p.m. A Hernandez caller reported someone in a truck keeps passing by their house and putting for sale signs on their property.

7:49 a.m. A Community School Road caller reported his neighbors are in his backyard, listening to his conversations and asking him for money. He said they talk to him through his window all night and won’t let him sleep.

9:01 a.m. A man popped the top off an electrical box near Starbucks so he could charge his devices.

9:31 a.m. A New Mexico State Police officer reported an electric box had been tampered with.

9:32 a.m. An Ohkay Express Mart caller said people in two vehicles stole $53 in gas and left toward Taos.

10:07 a.m. A man went into Denny’s and asked an employee to call the police because a man was shooting and killing everybody.

11:59 a.m. A Dairy Queen caller said homeless people are under the tree, leaving trash all over and going into the business and loitering.

1:03 p.m. A woman was doing drugs and refusing the leave the H&R Block property.

1:14 p.m. A man found a bag of needles at his house on County Road 1.

4 p.m. An officer reported he stumbled across a breaking and entering on North McCurdy Road.

4:16 p.m. A bus driver reported an overdose at the Park and Ride on South Paseo de Oñate.

4:23 p.m. A man in a vehicle in the Wendy’s drive-thru was passed out.

4:42 p.m. A Velarde caller said her foster kids are threatening to hit her and they killed her dog.

6:40 p.m. A Cook’s Mobile Home Park caller reported their friend just got out of jail and went to their house to harass them and their friend.

7:01 p.m. A Wendy’s caller said homeless people are by the dumpster again; they already told them they’re trespassing.

7:22 p.m. A North Riverside Drive caller reported a man has been riding his motorcycle around, makes constant noise and is making her life miserable.

8:17 p.m. A Walmart caller said a man was shooting at a woman by the north-side doors.

10:30 p.m. A caller reported a man is “falling all over everyone’s yards” on Calle de Pajarito and Lower San Pedro Road.

9:20 a.m. A woman in Tierra Amarilla reported people in Chama are threatening her on social media.

1:43 p.m. An overdose was reported on Calle Vigil after a man took fentanyl and drank alcohol. Two doses of Narcan were administered.

2:25 p.m. A student locked himself in the vice principal’s office at Española Valley High School.

3:23 p.m. A caller reported getting fake $20 bills as change last night when he went to Fairview Sonic.

3:54 p.m. An overdose was reported at Big Rock.

5:45 p.m. A Dixon caller said her neighbor is building a “watchtower” so they can peek over her fence and into her bedroom. The man is also yelling at her over the fence, saying he’s is Israeli and she’s Palestinian and she’s trying to kill him.

6:21 p.m. A Hernandez caller reported a package was stolen from his house.

6:45 p.m. A caller said a 3-year-old and 4-year-old may have accidentally taken muscle relaxers.

6:55 p.m. A Calle del Rio caller said it seems like someone is in her house; she can hear people talking.

7 p.m. Two homeless people were fighting over drugs on Star Lane and Carr Lane.

9:31 p.m. A Villa del Norte Apartments caller said the neighbor told her she’s not afraid of her and wanted to know what she was looking at when the caller closed the window.

11:58 p.m. A deputy attempted a traffic stop in Hernandez, but the vehicle wouldn’t stop. The driver began throwing items out the window and eventually stopped.

3:29 p.m. A Chamita caller said her nephew is hallucinating and seeing people who are not there.
