Monday, Feb. 23
• 7:45 a.m. — A State Road 68 caller said her sister had been on an all-night bender the previous night, returned home drunk and was causing problems at the house. She was throwing stuff around the home, the caller said.
• 8:22 a.m. — A State Road 68 caller said she wanted her ex-boyfriend to come over and get his “(expletive)” out of her house. She said she would throw out the items herself if an officer was not available. The ex-boyfriend’s father arranged to pick up the items later in the evening.
• 2:19 p.m. — An Allsup’s gas station employee said a woman was using a stolen credit card to fill up other people’s cars. She couldn’t be found.
• 4:09 p.m. — A Rock Christian Church caller said a woman was standing around the building harassing people as they went into the church. She couldn’t be found.
• 5:05 p.m. — A caller said his girlfriend was receiving harassing phone calls. The suspect was also harassing the caller and requesting his presence at a blackjack table in Big Rock Casino, the caller said. The call was transferred to Santa Clara Tribal Police.
• 8:36 p.m. — A caller said some men at Taco Bell were getting ready to confront one another. Police couldn’t find them and the clerk didn’t see anyone, so a prank call was suspected.
• 10:15 p.m. — A Kennedy Loop caller said she started her car, went inside to get her children, came out and the car was gone. She said the car was almost out of gas. Ohkay Owingeh Tribal Police found the suspect filling up the car at Giant Gas Station. Police recovered the car and arrested her.
• 11:10 p.m. — A Red’s Tavern employee said a customer to whom he refused to sell alcohol became irate and was trying to have another customer buy him a beer. All agencies were advised to be on the lookout for the man when he left.
Dog Not Helping Home Sale
Tuesday, Feb. 24
• 10:32 a.m. — A Private Drive 1013 caller said a woman who is known to use narcotics was at her house saying the caller owed her money. No report was wanted.
• 11:47 a.m. — A West Granada Street caller requested a border collie be removed because it wasn’t letting the realtor bring people to see the house. Española Animal Control assisted.
Stop Hitting Yourself
Wednesday, Feb. 25
• 9:09 a.m. — A State Road 215 caller said her ex-husband came to her house the previous night, broke a bottle on his head and hit himself. She said he returned that morning. Police found the man, and he wasn’t armed or intoxicated. It appeared the woman invited him over and then wanted him arrested. No report was taken.
• 4:11 p.m. — A Movie Gallery employee said a man walked out with a lot of movies.
• 8:13 p.m. — A North McCurdy Street caller said her daughter’s ex-husband was parking down the street from the house and might have been stalking her. She said her daughter just pulled up with her new husband, and she was afraid the ex-husband might get out of his car and start trouble. No report was wanted.

Thursday, Feb. 26
• 2:06 a.m. — A caller said a man was trying to break into Kentucky Fried Chicken. He was detoxed.
• 3:27 a.m. — A State Road 554 caller said some people were calling him in reference to an ad in the paper, and he didn’t have an ad in the paper and didn’t know what to do. The man called a second time and said he was going to call the people who were bothering him. He called a third time and was very upset, asking why law enforcement hadn’t contacted him. The call was transferred to another agency.
• 4:13 p.m. — A caller said he caught a juvenile stealing things from the back of a semi-truck at Valley Bar and Lounge. No report was taken.
• 5:09 p.m. — A Mesa Vista High School employee said a student got upset at a teacher and left campus. The student returned to school, and the call was canceled.

Friday, Feb. 27
• 10:43 a.m. — A Wal-Mart employee said a man was caught stealing a saw blade and hat. He was cited for shoplifting.
• 2:38 p.m. — A State Road 581 caller said his son had been stealing from him to buy heroin and cocaine. Police took a report for larceny.
• 3:25 p.m. — A Bonecutter Lane caller said his wife told him that some people who were going door to door selling vacuum cleaners were looking in her vehicle. They couldn’t be found.
• 3:37 p.m. — A McCurdy High School teacher said a parent called and threatened to have her fired. Police took a report for harassment.
• 4:14 p.m. — An Española Middle School teacher said he was being harassed by a student who kept disturbing his room, calling him names and using abusive language. Police took a report.
• 9:28 p.m. — A Fairview Sonic employee said some men parked in one of the drive-up spaces were passing around a joint and a small pipe and appeared to have a “very large bag of marijuana.” They couldn’t be found.
• 11:09 p.m. — A Long John Silver’s employee said some children came by and threw a beer bottle at her car when she was leaving work. No report was taken.
Merger disgruntles
Saturday, Feb. 28
• 1:48 a.m. — A man at Long John Silver’s called police saying he had nowhere to go. He was detoxed.
• 12:13 p.m. — An Alltell employee said a customer was being very disrespectful, yelling at the employee because her phone number got merged over to Verizon. The customer was advised to find another store.
• 1:21 p.m. — A Calle Milagro caller said her 31-year-old son was highly intoxicated, grabbed her wrist and twisted it, and also threw a shoe at her. No report was taken.
• 1:27 p.m. — A caller said he tried numerous times to recover furniture from a County Road 94 residence but the owners were rude and threatening to him. He cancelled the call for a civil standby.
• 1:36 p.m. — A County Road 41 caller said a judge gave his tenant 30 days to move a trailer off the space and pay back rent of approximately $2,220, and the tenant was outside his gate yelling and flipping him off. No report was taken.
Thief Loses Shoe
Sunday, March 1
• 3:38 a.m. — A caller said his mother had his Electronic Benefits Card. He refused to tell police his location, so they couldn’t take action.
• 2:57 p.m. — A caller said four men were begging for money from a woman, telling her they were trying to raise money for the poor.
• 3:01 p.m. — A caller said she was doing a fund-raiser for New Life Church in front of Wal-Mart, and a group of men stole the money. She said one of them lost a shoe in the parking lot. Police took a report for larceny.
• 7:33 p.m. — A Velarde caller said she was having a custody dispute with her ex-husband, and now his new girlfriend was telling her that if she wanted to “rock (the caller’s) world,” she would. She called back to say the couple was reporting that she stole a car. No report was taken.
