Doggy Bag
Monday, April 4
• 12 a.m. — An Ohkay Casino caller said three children were abandoned in the parking lot. Tribal police stated the children found their parents.
• 4:42 a.m. — A Paseo Melendez caller said his neighbors were crawling under his home and spying on him by looking at him through the holes in his home.
• 6:20 p.m. — A Fish Pond Lane caller said there was a suspicious-looking bag about 15 yards from a house. Inside the bag was a dead dog, and the responding officer said Animal Control would pick it up in the morning.
• 7:08 p.m. — A North Yucca Street caller said there was a fight inside a house and people were screaming at one another. Police said there were just dogs barking when they arrived and everything was OK.
• 10:10 p.m. — A Santa Cruz Country Store caller reported a break-in at a building across the street. Another person told dispatchers the people breaking into the home were armed with guns.

• 9:39 a.m. — A County Road 44 caller said a suspicious person was walking down the road drinking a beer.
• 10:09 a.m. — A North Paseo De Onate caller said her 18-year-old grandson was acting up and she wanted him taken out of her home.
• 4:54 p.m. — An Ambercare Hospice caller said a resident was assaulted by a family member.
• 5:18 p.m. — An E-Z Way Laundry caller said there was a man running behind the business yelling for people to get out of the way so the cops can’t catch up.
• 7:03 p.m. — A Crown Liquors caller said a vehicle was broken into and someone stole a wallet and a laser level.
• 7:05 p.m. — An East Shadowood Lane caller said children were throwing rocks at his dog.
• 7:17 p.m. — An Española Hospital caller said a dog bit her granddaughter on the mouth.
• 7:39 p.m. — Another Española Hospital caller said her 3-year-old son was playing in Valdez Park and was poked with a needle.

Wednesday, April 6
• 12:46 a.m. — A West Calle Rosario caller said his ex-girlfriend’s boyfriend told him that she was going to break into his house.
• 2:04 a.m. — A Camino De Quintana caller said someone was trying to open her back door. The caller said she could see someone through the kitchen window.
• 6:45 a.m. — A Highway 84 caller said there was a horse caught in the guardrail and the horse couldn’t move.
• 11:40 a.m. — A County Road 136A caller said her dog was poisoned, but she did not know who did it.
• 1:52 p.m. — A Wal-Mart caller reported a rude customer causing problems. The customer was yelling at a security guard and cursing.
• 3:13 p.m. — A San Juan Catholic Church caller reported someone sleeping in the parking lot.
• 6:05 p.m. — A McDonald’s caller said there was an extremely intoxicated man in the store who appeared to be falling asleep.
• 9:15 p.m. — A San Pedro Shell Station caller reported a man had been inside the bathroom for 30 minutes. Medical workers came to the scene but the man refused help.

• 12:03 a.m. — An Allsup’s gas station caller said customers were asking people for the zip code for Chamita. The caller thought they were trying to use a stolen credit card to pump gas.
• 5:27 a.m. — A Highway 68 caller reported a man in front of a vehicle. The man was on all fours and was throwing up.
• 10:29 a.m. — A County Road 1 caller said her husband was taking items from her home and trying to take her child.
• 3:22 p.m. — A Mariscos La Playa caller said someone stole a jar of money from the store.
• 4:04 p.m. — A Long John Silver’s caller said three women came into the restaurant and beat up another female.
• 4:58 p.m. — A Saiz Lane caller said he was trying to repossess someone’s vehicle. The owner was being cooperative at first but then threatened to beat up the repo man.
• 9:08 p.m. — A Private Drive 1527 caller said she was six weeks pregnant and her husband pushed her to the ground.

Friday, April 8
• 12:52 a.m. — A Sunset Drive caller said she had a domestic dispute with a man who was hiding in the bushes after she called the police. The caller said he pushed her and threw her dog against the wall.
• 9:42 a.m. — An East Roman Drive caller said two dogs were loose and chasing people.
• 10:05 a.m. — A Calle Cristobal caller reported two teenagers wearing all black. The caller said they were “just walking back and forth” and had chains hanging from their belts.
• 12:40 p.m. — A Santa Clara Apartments caller reported people were trying to get into an apartment from which they were recently evicted. Medical workers took one person to the hospital for alcohol withdrawal.
• 3:35 p.m. — A state Children, Youths and Families Department juvenile probation officer said a girl on North Railroad Avenue was threatening to hurt herself and was possibly under the influence of narcotics.
• 8:53 p.m. — A Giant Gas Station caller said people were getting out of their cars in the parking lot and looked like they were about to fight.

Saturday, April 9
• 8:45 a.m. — An Española Car Wash caller said he found a weapon and police were looking for a serial number.
• 9:25 a.m. — An El Llano Road and East Shadowood Lane caller said a man was passed out on the side of the road near the Vista Del Rio Apartments.
• 2:07 p.m. — A Calle Chamisal caller said his wife was trying to steal his truck and run him over. He yelled, then hung up the phone. Police at the scene later reported his leg had been run over.
• 3:35 p.m. — A State Road 68 caller said a woman near Club Lumina was stumbling in the road and squatting down. The woman was transported to the hospital.
• 7:26 p.m. — A County Road 41 caller said his neighbor is threatening him. The caller said the neighbor regularly runs him off the road and always wants to fight him. The neighbor said the caller was causing problems as well by breaking windows and throwing eggs.
• 7:31 p.m. — A McCracken Lane caller said her parents allowed a man to come into their house to collect money for digging a ditch. The man was in the dining room and stole a portable PlayStation video game system from the kitchen table. The caller said he didn’t see the man take it, but he was unable to find it after the man left.

• 8:03 a.m. — A Greenfield Road caller said she woke up and her Hyundai Accent was gone. The car was parked at her neighbor’s house.
• 1:03 p.m. — A North McCurdy Road and a Mountain View Street caller said a 4-year-old child was riding a bike down a hill and he was afraid the child would get hit by a car.
• 1:15 p.m. — A Wal-Mart caller said someone was trying to scam the store on a refund fraud for hair spray and transmission fluid.
• 1:20 p.m. — A South Riverside Drive caller reported people were attempting to break into a shed with a crowbar.
• 3:43 p.m. — A State Road 76 caller said he was driving and saw a man pull a gun out on another man and start shooting at him.
• 5:42 p.m. — A Fairview Lane caller saw a man and a woman running past Walgreens. They were carrying a box that had a picture of a stereo on it.
