Pants Down

Monday, July, 27

    • 1:33 p.m. — A caller said a man under a tree near Lowe’s Super Save had his pants down. Police couldn’t find him.

    • 10:39 p.m. — A Private Drive 1063 caller said she wanted her ex-boyfriend from a long time ago removed from her house. He was drunk, had just gotten out of the shower and was dripping blood after shaving. She was afraid her 4-year-old would see him. Someone picked him up.

Tuesday, July 28

    • 4:22 p.m. — A Paseo de Paulina caller said someone stole his bicycle. He called back later to say his bike had been returned to his front porch after being stripped. No report was wanted.

    • 8:15 p.m. — A Tierra Azul caller said a 17-year-old girl broke the window to her mobile home out of anger and rage. She said the girl returned later and stole a license plate. Police took a report for criminal damage to property.

    • 11:17 p.m. — A Calle Chamisal caller said a man in a red Ford Thunderbird was causing a disturbance. She said he took off with her underwear and bras and told her he was going to return with a gun. No one was arrested, and police took an informational report.

    • 12:23 p.m. — A caller said a man was picking up women at Lowe’s Super Save; a woman appeared to be showing him her body parts. The couple couldn’t be found.

    • 2:22 p.m. — A Rio County Road 106 caller said while she was in Santa Fe getting a restraining order against her husband, he went to her house and took some paintings. No report was taken.

    • 3:12 p.m. — A Giant Gas Station employee called to report that they found white powder wrapped in foil. It turned out to be baking soda.

    • 8:02 p.m. — A Paseo de Oñate caller said someone stole his boat, and he thought he knew who did it.

Thursday, July 30

    • 5:26 a.m. — A County Road 41 caller said someone started a steamroller or a tractor and it rolled into his fence. He said it was still moving by itself, and no one else was around. Police took a report.

    • 12:16 p.m. — A State Road 399 caller said a suspicious person in a truck with Colorado license plates was parked under some trees. An officer spoke to the men in the truck, who said they were private investigators. Police checked with their supervisor to confirm that and advised them to be more discreet.

    • 3:52 p.m. — A Walgreens manager requested police remove a man who was trying to sell narcotics to his customers. The drug dealer left the area before police arrived.

    • 6:19 p.m. — A San Pedro Sonic caller said a suspicious person had been playing with an envelope for about 45 minutes. Police determined he wasn’t doing anything wrong and was eating with his elderly mother.

Friday, July 31

    • 12:47 p.m. — A County Road 31 caller said his heroin-addicted brother stole his father’s medication and told his mother if she didn’t give him $20 he would kill her. They had asked him to leave on several occasions, but he didn’t want to move out. No report was wanted; the couple just wanted police to talk to him.

    • 5:10 p.m. — A caller wanted an officer to stand by while she picked up her belongings from a house. She said some people who had been harassing her the previous night drove by and were flipping her off. Police took a report.

    • 5:18 p.m. — A Hopewell Lake caller said some campers were refusing to park in parking spaces and hadn’t paid since July 29. Police spoke to the campers and determined they had some complaints about the caller.

    • 6:34 p.m. — A caller said he heard there was going to be a rave in Rio Chiquito. The rave couldn’t be located by police.

Meaningless Dispute

Saturday, Aug 1

    • 10:26 a.m. — A Monterey Lane caller said she needed to remove something from her ex-boyfriend’s house, but there was a restraining order in place. “Be advised that the woman was very, very angry because she could not locate a jack to get a tire from the vehicle,” an officer recorded in 911 dispatch logs. “I advised her to leave the area and she has.”

    • 4:19 p.m. — A caller said he left a pistol on top of the refrigerator at Brazos Lodge and wanted them to hold it for him. They did.

    • 5:09 p.m. — A Grants man reported that a woman left Wendy’s with his wallet and abandoned him. Police determined it was a “meaningless argument” between the two, and the man said he would find a ride back.

Remote Flushing

Sunday, Aug. 2

    • 7:05 p.m. — A County Road 175 caller said a man was harassing her by breaking windows and selling drugs. She hung up, and when a 911 dispatcher called her back, she said the man was an illegal immigrant and was knocking on her window, kicking the door and flushing her toilet although he was not inside the apartment. Police went over and found her alone with no one around. No report was taken.

    • 6:56 p.m. — A 13-year-old Private Drive 1330 caller said a neighborhood youth stole his bicycle, and he wanted it back. It was returned.
