Santa Clara Pueblo has been awarded a $50,000 planning grant to fund its community development master plan.
The grant is part of a $5 million state initiative to fund tribal infrastructure and planning projects. Tribal communities will receive an additional $12.2 million from other state, federal and tribal governments.
The Tribal Infrastructure Fund Board reviewed 26 infrastructure project proposals totaling over $9.7 million in requests.
