(SUNfoto by Lou Mattei) Graffiti calling for vigilante action against former Abiquiú Land Grant treasurer Jerry Archuleta and former president Delvin Garcia appeared March 14 on a wall directly across from Abiquiú’s Ferran Gymnasium where the Land Grant held its most recent meeting. Allegations that Garcia and Archuleta embezzled money from the Grant surfaced in July 2009 shortly after the State Auditor issued a report about the embezzlement by Archuleta's wife Kathy Borrego. No charges have been filed in the Grant case.
