Monday, Aug. 31
• 6:27 a.m. — A Santa Clara Apartments caller said her neighbors downstairs were yelling. Police determined the couple got upset about TV, and another neighbor said they were always calling the cops on each other.
• 7:02 p.m. — A Wal-Mart customer said a man wearing a cowboy hat stole her keys and was refusing to return them. He later agreed to return the keys.

Tuesday, Sept. 1
• 10:29 a.m. — A Calle Valdez caller said a man staying at her house damaged it.
• 10:50 a.m. — An anonymous caller said several marijuana plants in pots were behind a burnt-out trailer on Highway 84. Police couldn’t find them.
• 7:42 p.m. — A woman said her son was harassing her and her uncle. She said her son was on probation and was at Wal-Mart “to buy clothes so he could get out of this town.” She said he started acting up as soon as he entered the store.

Wednesday, Sept. 2
• 1:42 a.m. — A Calle Chamisal caller said a man came to her house to use her phone, walked out with it and never returned. He couldn’t be found.
• 2 a.m. — A Hernandez caller said someone drove up and stole her dog.
• 2:24 p.m. — A caller said a man threw a full bottle of Gatorade in his face in Walgreens’ parking lot. He couldn’t be found.
• 2:36 p.m. — A Chili’s Restaurant employee said a customer who was “not all there” was refusing to pay his bill and claiming he was given the wrong check. He was determined to be extremely crazy and just passing through town.
• 8:42 p.m. — An East Shadowood Lane caller said her drug-addicted daughter stole a check from her house and cashed it.

Thursday, Sept. 3
• 6:54 a.m. — A caller said an old man was erratically driving a truck with a ladder sticking out of it on State Road 30. He was determined to be having a diabetic attack.
• 6:59 p.m. — A Rio Arriba County Road 1 caller said a man was drinking along the side of the road and flipping off people who passed by. He couldn’t be found.
• 7:46 p.m. — A Lopez Lane caller said someone drove by and threw a two by six into her yard. No report was taken.
• 9:42 p.m. — A County Road 113 caller said there was a large rattlesnake outside her residence, and she didn’t know what to do. 911 dispatchers contacted County animal control.

Friday , Sept. 4
• 12:15 p.m. — A Highway 84/285 caller said her boyfriend was threatening to slash her tires and put sugar in her gas tank.
• 7:08 p.m. — A State Road 230 caller said her sister-in-law put something into her sister’s contact lens solution and ended up burning her corneas. Police took a report.
• 7:19 p.m. — A Boneyard Lane caller said her 12-year-old son was yelling at her, telling her to shut up and getting in her face. No report was taken.
• 10:56 p.m. — A State Road 68 caller said a man and a woman were either fighting or having sex in a gray car. They couldn’t be found.
• 11:35 p.m. — A Los Pinos campground caller said a man who had a little too much to drink was throwing a pickaxe. He was taken to another campground to sleep it off.
Imaginary Internet Stalker
Saturday, Sept. 5
• 2:40 a.m. — A caller said her neighbor had been in his car for an hour with his foot on the gas pedal. The call was transferred to State Police.
• 11:26 a.m. — A Private Drive 1527 caller said her husband disconnected the battery to her car and wouldn’t let her leave. The husband then called 911 and said his wife stole his wallet the previous night, and he told her he would not reconnect the car battery until she agreed to return his wallet. No report was taken.
• 2:52 p.m. — A very uncooperative East Shadowood Lane caller said a man was bothering her over the Internet. Police conducting a welfare check on her determined she didn’t have an Internet hookup at her house.
• 10:46 p.m. — A County Road 39 caller said a man was knocking on doors and windows in the area. He was determined to be a little drunk and trying to find a ride, which police gave him.
Drunks Play with Grocery Carts
Sunday, Sept. 6
• 12:28 a.m. — A Cook’s Trailer Park caller said there was a suspicious intoxicated man sleeping in a car in her neighbor’s driveway. She said she woke him up and he asked her if he could come in for coffee. Police determined his car broke down and gave him a ride to Ohkay Casino.
• 1:59 a.m. — A caller said several drunk people were throwing bottles at each other and running around in the Center Market parking lot with shopping carts. A second caller reported the same people were lighting fireworks and breaking bottles. Police assisted with the call.
• 6:44 p.m. — A Monterey Lane caller said her neighbor’s nephew came to her house asking for her son, saying he was there to kick his butt for disrespecting his aunt. Police took a report for harassment.
• 7:52 p.m. — A caller said a woman in a red Dodge Neon tried to run him off State Road 68. After he honked at her she got out of her car at a stoplight and started hitting his vehicle. No report was taken.
