The firefighters had the cops beat 37-34 at the end of regulation play but a three-pointer by Jose Martinez with two seconds left, tied it up and the game went into overtime.
The police department came back and beat the fire department 43-29.Española Public Safety Director Eric Garcia said the two teams raised about $300 and have more fundraisers and community events planned for the future.
