QB’s Return Not Enough to Lift Elks over Raton

The game was Martinez’s first as an Elk after he transferred from McCurdy and was forced to sit out the first part of this season. The junior quarterback led some convincing drives, but Pojoaque’s defense could not stop Raton’s passing attack led by quarterback Dustin Walton, who recently committed to play for the University of New Mexico.
