Pastor Leaving Behind Mixed Legacy

Brennan, who has been pastor at San Juan Catholic Parish for eight years and Cariños’ Board President since its inception in 2005, will leave the parish May 6 and step down from the Board by the end of this month. Cariños is one of several projects Brennan helped launch during his tenure. His departure leaves the future of those projects uncertain, parishioners say.
