Who Has The Biggest Veggies In The Valley ?

    The Española Farmers’ Market hosted its ninth annual Biggest Vegetable and Best Poem Contest Oct. 6. Entries included miniature vegetables, corn that was 25-and-a-half inches long and a purple tiger eggplant. All of the participants are sellers at the market. Entries for the Poem contest came from the Santa Fe Girls’ School. Seventh grader Georgia Redd won first place for her “Ode to Water.”
