Española Police officers, Ohkay Owingeh Tribal Police, Rio Arriba County Sheriff’s deputies and State Police responded to the following calls:
Female Accessories at Santa Claran
Monday, Nov. 8
• 12:54 a.m. — Two callers at Walmart and Taco Bell reported the windows to their cars were broken.
• 7:03 a.m. — An Una Ala Clinic caller said he saw a driver of a car get out, beat up another man and force the man into the car. State Police said they found the man.
• 7:15 a.m. — An Española Northern New Mexico College caller said the school received a call from a woman who said there were bombs in “all the buildings.” Police searched the buildings and left about two hours later having found no bombs.
• 11:31 a.m. — A Chimayó Highway caller said people inside a pickup truck hauling a wood splitter were shooting up in front of the Holy Cross Church.
• 2:09 p.m. — A Fairview Lane caller complained about a man trying to hitchhike by jumping out in front of cars.
• 3:26 p.m. — A Santa Claran Hotel Casino caller said a man in a blue vehicle was loitering and asked to leave. Staff found a “lot” of female items- including jewelry, clothing, shirts, underwear, bras and purses – in the area where the man was.
• 4:58 p.m. — State Police assisted in a search for a Terrace Avenue man who cut himself with a knife and ran away. The man could not be found.
• 10:47 p.m. — An Española Northern New Mexico College caller said someone broke into the student lounge and stole a flat screen television and other items.

Tuesday, Nov. 9
• 2:01 a.m. — A North McCurdy Road caller said she thought someone drove to the back of her property because she could hear music coming from back there.
• 8:5 a.m. — A Calle Salazar caller complained about eight cows in the area while workers were doing construction on the Oñate bridge. Animal Control officers issued one citation.
• 10:46 a.m. — A Walmart caller complained a man broke a camera off the wire in the electronics department and left with it in his backpack.
• 11:27 a.m. — An Española Middle School caller said a 12-year-old hit his head on some stairs and there was a lot of blood oozing out.
• 12:53 p.m. — A Walgreen’s caller complained about a drunk man wearing a hat who was stumbling around and leaning against a light pole.
• 2:51 p.m. — An Española Northern New Mexico College caller said he received a bomb threat stating there were bombs “in every building.”
• 8:29 p.m. — A highway 64/84 caller said a bipolar woman with a knife was trying to stab him.
• 9:57 p.m. — A Walmart caller said a woman was shooting up inside the bathroom.

Wednesday, Nov. 10
• 2:58 a.m. — A Calle Del Alamo caller who was in a wheelchair said there were people at her house doing drugs and refusing to leave.
• 7:42 a.m. — A West Roman Drive caller said a woman had a severe toothache and had no one to take her to the hospital. She was crying and pacing the room.
• 9:20 a.m. — Police took a report of a stolen truck parked at Pizza Hut. An anonymous caller said someone involved was part of the “Mexican Mafia” and they did not want any problems.
• 9:50 a.m. — A County Road 2 caller said a neighbor was coming over and harassing them about an allegedly stolen barbecue.
• 3:47 p.m. — A County Road 57 caller said a man near a gray Chevrolet was standing on the Lyden Bridge with no clothes on.
• 8:56 p.m. — A Chili’s restaurant caller said there was a fight between three men and one of the men was bleeding.
• 9:59 p.m. — A Michael’s Minimart caller said someone shot the window to the store.
Mother-In-Law’s Waterloo
Thursday, Nov. 11
• 1:08 a.m. — A Private Drive 1407 woman asked for State Police. She was scared because someone was shining a flashlight in her room and she was home alone.
• 2:01 a.m. — A Lopez Lane caller said her friend forced her way into the house and was beating her. State Police said it didn’t look like the caller had been battered.
• 12:06 p.m. — A Walmart caller said a man was putting fishing bait in his pockets.
• 1:32 p.m. — A Calle Nambé caller said someone slashed her tires and slashed her friend’s tires the night before.
• 2:40 p.m. — A Jones Lane caller said his father-in-law assaulted him and was standing outside yelling that he was going to beat him up.
• 5:06 p.m. — A Highway 84 caller said a goat was running on the road and vehicles were swerving to miss it. The caller later said someone hit the goat.
• 8:05 p.m. — A Red’s Steak House caller said a suspicious woman in a black car was taking money from someone in a truck.
• 11:31 p.m. — A Camino De Mesa caller said his ex assaulted his mother. He said the ex was throwing rocks at him while children shot at them with BB guns.

Friday, Nov. 12
• 12:38 a.m. — A West Bond Street caller said two men were fighting by throwing rocks at each other but were walking away. Neither male had a shirt on.
• 11:11 a.m. — A Day Lily Lane man who wanted a restraining order said someone was blocking the road with his truck again.
• 11:34 a.m. — Dispatch took a call from a Vista Del Rio Apartments man who was reporting a psychotic episode in which someone said he was having visions that he would be shot.
• 12:25 a.m. — A Wells Fargo Bank caller said the windows to the business were hit with paint balls.
• 2:13 a.m. — A Tropicana bar caller said a woman wearing all camouflage was shooting up outside.
• 6:30 p.m. — A County Road 141 caller said someone in a brown Toyota Tacoma was going around her property stealing things such as wood.
• 9:36 p.m. — A Shoe Department caller said a strange woman walked into the store and acted like she was lost.
• 11:55 p.m. — A South McCurdy Road caller said two men were throwing things at her car.

Saturday, Nov. 13
• 1:30 a.m. — A Nambé Street caller said she went to her friend’s house and found the tires to her truck were slashed.
• 12:07 p.m. — A Walgreen’s caller said a man and woman were in the area panhandling. She said she had seen this couple before and they were pounding on her car windows asking for money.
• 12:34 p.m. — A Burger King caller said a drunk man tried to jump into her vehicle.
• 12:46 p.m. — A Private Drive 1069 A caller said he was doing contract work on a residence when the previous owner showed up and started harassing him.
• 2:20 p.m. — A Bubble Zone caller said a man was behind the business having a seizure.
• 4:34 p.m. — A Center Market caller said a woman who looked “extremely high” shoplifted a bottle of vodka.
• 4:41 p.m. — A Tropicana caller said she was battered by another woman who tried pushing her into a pregnant woman.
• 5:10 p.m. — A Lowe’s Home improvement caller said two rifles were stolen from his vehicle while he was in the store.
• 9:07 p.m. — A woman went to Española Hospital claiming she was struck with a bottle at the Tropicana bar.
• 11:17 p.m. — A County Road 55 caller sad her boyfriend left her home and broke her window.
Baby Shower Brouhaha
Sunday, Nov. 14
• 4:07 a.m. — A County Road 57 caller said she was just beaten by a man who threw her out of a car. She said her face hurt.
• 11:15 a.m. — A man went to the Española Hospital for an accidental gunshot wound.
• 12:38 p.m. — A San Pedro Shell caller complained a woman was outside the business asking for money with an eight year old child.
• 5:08 p.m. — A Calle Loma caller saw a lot of cars parked outside a residence and heard what sounded like fighting and vulgar language coming from inside. Police reported everything was fine. The people inside were having a baby shower.
• 9:59 p.m. — A Fairview Lane caller said he saw someone shooting paint balls out of a car.
