DV Meets Ultimate Fighting
Monday, March 21
• 3:05 a.m. — A Hindi Avenue Shell Station caller said someone in a truck with a broken tail light was in a drug deal.
• 12:43 p.m. — A Middle San Pedro Road caller said a group of people walked out of a residence carrying a plastic bag. The woman thought this was suspicious because there were a lot of break-ins in the area.
• 1:19 p.m. — A man walked into the Espoñola Police Department office and reported a robbery in which he was assaulted and thought he stabbed someone in the hand with a pair of scissors.
• 5:35 p.m. — A Walgreens caller said two men and a woman were panhandling. She said they started pounding on her car when she turned them down. The woman panhandler fled when the police came.
• 6:51 p.m. — An Ohkay Casino caller said a woman burned herself with steam. The woman said she did not want an ambulance.
• 8:31 p.m. — A County Road 87 caller said her brother was fighting with his mother and had her in a choke hold.
• 11:38 p.m. — A Santo Niño Lane caller said she heard four gunshots and a screaming woman. Police could not find anything suspicious.
Poorly Dressed Burglar
Tuesday, March 22
• 2 a.m. — A Comfort Inn caller said there was a man prowling outside. The caller said it looked like the man wanted to punch a door.
• 7:23 a.m. — A Highway 64 caller said there were two males and a female passed out in a truck. The woman was covered in mud. The caller said she was going to knock on their window trying to wake them up. The caller said the truck left at a high rate of speed.
• 12:03 p.m. — A West Granada Street caller said someone was burglarizing a house. The caller said a suspicious man ran down the street wearing a plaid jacket and purple gloves.
• 2:31 p.m. — A State Road 76 caller complained that her neighbors kept stealing her chickens.
• 3:30 p.m. — A Chama Lodge caller said a man fell off a rail. The man fell eight feet onto the concrete and was taken to the hospital.

Wednesday, March 23
• 9:45 a.m. — A Casa de Corazon caller said an old friend of hers was calling her and harassing her.
• 9:50 a.m. — A Guachupangue Road caller said there were two men trying to pull a woman out of a Jeep.
• 9:57 a.m. — A Taos Lane and Sandy Lane caller reported four suspicious men, one of whom was wearing a gray mask.
• 12:02 p.m. — Police arrested a woman on El Llano Road and reported the woman swallowed something.
• 12:15 p.m. — A Calle De Los Amigos caller said a man was harassing her, sending her pictures of his private area and asking her to send him naked pictures of herself.
• 2:12 p.m. — A Milagro Mobile Home Park man complained he built a porch for someone and the person refused to pay him $150 for it.
• 2:50 p.m. — An Española Valley High School caller reported a stolen mannequin.
• 3:10 p.m. — An Española Hospital caller said a drunk woman refused to leave the hospital. Police took one woman for detoxification.
• 4:17 p.m. — A Calle Duran caller said she wanted a man who was not on the lease to her home out of the home. She said the man locked her out of her home.
• 10:19 p.m. — A County Road 1 caller said he was assaulted with a bat. The man said his legs and ribs hurt. A deputy said the man was extremely drunk.
Drunks Incorporated
Thursday, March 24
• 12:20 a.m. — A Wal-Mart caller said people were smoking by the gas pumps and tagging the wall by Taco Bell.
• 3 a.m. — A Wal-Mart caller said people were lying on the gravel at the gas station. Police learned these people were employees pulling weeds and an employee laid down because she got tired.
• 1:56 p.m. — A Navajo Street child said she did not want to go home because she was afraid a family member would beat her up.
• 3:35 p.m. — A Fairview Lane caller said he wanted a man out of a house because the man was doing drugs. The caller would not leave his name because he said it “incorporates” him. A dispatcher said the caller sounded drunk.
• 3:53 p.m. — A Camino Del Sol caller said a woman was hitting him and his lip was bleeding.
Shampoo Bandit
Friday, March 25
• 1:14 a.m. — A North McCurdy Road caller reported someone punched the window to her door and opened it.
• 11:13 a.m. — A Hernandez Family Dollar caller said a man tried stealing shampoo and conditioner from the store. The man was caught after a short foot pursuit with the police.
• 1:02 p.m. — An Española Middle School caller said a student was hit in the eye with a rock.
• 1:04 p.m. — A Giant Gas Station caller said her daughter was having a nervous breakdown and was screaming and yelling in a car.
• 2:50 p.m. — A Highway 550 caller said a man was on the ground by the side of the road. The man said he was beat up. He said he wasn’t intoxicated but he was handicapped.
• 6:08 p.m. — Police and medical workers went to a Highway 84/285 home looking for a man who was threatening his family. The suspect was running around without a shirt and hiding behind a neighbor’s house. The man was drunk and incoherent.
Llama Snuffed
Saturday, March 26
• 2:59 a.m. — A Calle Amorada caller reported someone breaking into his home. The caller said the man got into the house, but his brother was holding the man down. Police arrested one man for possession of marijuana.
• 5:28 a.m. — A Calle Alamosa caller said an unwanted man without a shirt on was at her grandfather’s house pounding on the door. Police reported that the suspect was very drunk and had cuts and scrapes on his face. The police said they couldn’t understand what the man was saying.
• 10:05 a.m. — A Highway 84/285 caller reported suspected child abuse. The caller said children were at a residence without supervision and their guardian was using drugs and alcohol.
• 11:14 a.m. — A Boomerang Thrift Store caller said someone was shoplifting jewelry from the business. Police found the suspect’s vehicle at the Butterfly Springs Apartments in Pojoaque. They could not find the suspect.
• 1:30 p.m. — A Calle Alamosa caller said someone broke into his home and stole his Nintendo Wii.
• 6:40 p.m. — A North Riverside Drive caller reported a suspicious person carrying a set of bolt-cutters near some self-storage units.
• 7:52 p.m. — A Private Drive 1608 caller said someone shot his llamas. He said the female llama died and the male was injured.

Sunday, March 27
• 1:30 a.m. — A Private Drive 1330 caller said her son broke things in the house and ran away.
• 1:53 a.m. — A Nolan Drive caller said his uncle was fighting with his dad because the uncle claimed his dad was cheating on his mom.
• 2:32 a.m. — A County Road 57 caller said her father was beaten up at Club Lumina and was bleeding from his eyes, nose and mouth. The man was going unconscious and twitching. The woman took her father to the emergency room.
• 6:43 p.m. — A State Road 233 caller said she was talking on the phone and her uncle hit her twice on the arm. She said she didn’t need an ambulance when a dispatcher asked her.
• 9:07 p.m. — A Private Drive 1612A caller said his dad’s caretaker hit him in the face with a rock.
• 11:41 p.m. — A State Road 96 caller complained that someone stole some of his fence posts.
