Bouncer Sassed
Monday, Sept. 6
• 12:38 a.m. — A Lumbre Del Sol caller said a group of kids were fighting by the Sombrillo Elementary building.
• 1:48 a.m. — A Private Drive 1004 caller wanted to make a report with the Sheriff’s Department because someone broke into her house while she was sleeping on the couch.
• 1:51 a.m. — A Hindi Avenue caller said two people were trying to break into her house, but they were chased away by her boyfriend, who lost sight of one of the men at the end of the trailer court. Police said they had one juvenile in custody who was supposed to be on house arrest.
• 10:41 a.m. — A Coronado Avenue caller said a 2-year-old child was outside of a house crying and thought the child might have been locked out of the house. Police spoke to the father who said the child was crying because he was caught in a dog’s leash, but was okay.
• 4:49 p.m. — A 24-year-old man was assaulted at the skate park, but he did not want to make a report.
• 5:08 p.m. — A Corlett Road caller said her son, who appeared to be disoriented, was beaten up and nearly hit by a car. She later called and said her son was at the Santa Claran Casino. He walked in and cursed at a security guard and walked out. Security said he was banned from the casino. His mother picked the man up and took him home.
• 7:59 p.m. — A caller said he was attacked by a man he had a restraining order against and that man’s wife. He said he was hit with a hammer, but refused an ambulance.

Tuesday, Sept. 7
• 11:23 a.m. — A Ramsey Road caller reported a woman was having a seizure, which lasted about three minutes. The woman was an alcoholic and was telling them she needed a beer.
• 12:44 p.m. — A North Orchard Lane caller said his son just stole a set of channel lock pliers from him. Emergency dispatch logs state the suspect was found and he had just shot up in his foot. Blood was running down his leg, which had track marks.
• 1:10 p.m. — An Española High School caller said students were stealing from the back of the Coca Cola truck.
• 3:45 p.m. — A Tierra Amarilla Elementary school caller said a 10-year-old had a seizure, was in a lot of pain and was unable to move his legs.
• 4:56 p.m. — A South Yucca Street caller said his vehicle was shot at while he was driving. His windshield had been hit with a BB gun pellet.
• 5:58 p.m. — A purse-snatching was reported at Lowe’s Supersave but the woman who had her purse stolen by one of two men outside the store left before police arrived.
• 7:32 p.m. — A South Riverside Drive caller said her cousin was in jail but people her cousin knows keep getting in the home somehow and she wanted an officer to remove them.

Wednesday, Sept. 8
• 8:17 a.m. — A Highway 84 caller said there was a truck in his yard and a man appeared to be asleep inside it. The house was past the Blue Spruce Bar.
• 10:12 a.m. — A Highway 285 caller said there were a group of cows on the road and a semi truck was approaching them. The driver of the truck honked, which got the cows to move, but they went back on the road.
• 12:12 p.m. — A Walmart caller said they had a woman in custody who stole nearly $70 in laxatives.
• 2:53 p.m. — A Valdez Park caller said there was going to be a large fight there. She said a man said he dropped his son off there to help fight the other people. The group of juveniles dispersed when police arrived.
• 10:27 p.m. — A Pacheco Lane caller said his 1997 Honda Accord, which he bought one week ago, was stolen from his house while he was at work.

Thursday, Sept. 9
• 4:26 a.m. — An Ohkay Casino caller reported a drunk man who was sleeping in the weeds. Dispatch noted someone was giving him a ride to the Comfort Inn and making sure he got into the right room.
• 7:45 a.m. — A Fairview Lane caller said there was a man in a motorized wheelchair riding it on the road.
• 9:30 a.m. — People at the North Railroad Avenue city compound building said a woman was staring at a car there that was involved in a wreck. It was the mother of the person who was involved in the wreck. She left the area.
• 10:19 a.m. — A caller at the DMV was coming back from a driver’s test and found a film canister in the bathroom that had marijuana cigarettes inside it.
• 5:34 p.m. — A North Riverside Drive caller said a drunk man was walking in the street and he got angry and cursed at people when they told him not to.
• 7:05 p.m. — A County Road 47 caller said someone must have “messed with” his vehicle because his brakes gave out in front of the Santa Cruz Church.

Friday, Sept. 10
• 2:30 a.m. — A North Paseo De Oñate caller reported two people wearing black in the road carrying a rock. Police pursued the men, one of whom was limping and being helped by the other. The police thought they had them in a locked shed, but the men were not there when police opened it.
• 10:16 a.m. — A woman at the Rock Christian Fellowship Church said her husband took her vehicle she was making payments on. Police made contact with the man, who had a warrant for his arrest and transported the woman for domestic violence. Her husband claimed the woman “cut” him.
• 1:18 p.m. — A Lotaburger caller reported two men who were smoking illegal substances out of a pipe in front of the business.
• 1:36 p.m. — A Northern New Mexico Optical caller said a woman came into the business and grabbed her by the hair.
• 2:16 p.m. — A Chevron Quickstop caller said a woman left her 2-year-old and small baby inside a car with the windows rolled up. Police could not find the car.
• 6:25 p.m. — A South Riverside Drive woman said a tall and skinny man wearing a red shirt driving a late 1980’s model Trailblazer was taking pictures of her. She thought the man took a picture under her skirt, too.

Saturday, Sept. 11
• 6:09 a.m. — A Fairview Lane caller reported seeing someone in gym shorts who hid in some bushes when they went past.
• 10:16 a.m. — A Las Lomas Apartments caller said someone broke into the office the night before and stole files.
• 12:12 p.m. — A woman said she was on Highway 74 when two men in a black truck pulled up to the side of her vehicle and broke out the back window with a bat.
• 5:33 p.m. — An Allsup’s caller said there were people inside a four-door Chevy Tahoe shooting up.
• 7:33 p.m. — A Calle Redondo man reported about eight teens who were yelling at cars and jumping the wall back and forth to Santa Fe County Public Housing.
• 7:56 p.m. — A Pine Avenue caller said her son was in jail and he had two pit bull dogs locked up at his house. She said someone let the dogs out and she was afraid that they would bite someone.
• 8:23 p.m. — A Fairview Lane caller said he had been in a fight with his uncle and had a cut above his eye. The man was bleeding from his mouth.

Sunday, Sept. 12
• 12:11 a.m. — A Private Drive 1027 caller said a man got into a fight with his girlfriend, then took a painkiller to try to commit suicide.
• 2:41 a.m. — Police got a call from a man on County Road 40 who sounded extremely intoxicated. They could hear a female yelling in the background “look at my lip, he hit me.” Police were taking a woman to Santa Fe then said she was pepper sprayed.
• 3:09 a.m. — A Private Drive 1633 caller said she locked her boyfriend out of the home, but he was still outside and she wanted to leave with her baby.
• 11:58 a.m. — A State Road 399 caller said there was a dog digging in the dirt in front of a home because it had no water and appeared to be dying. She also said she was looking for someone’s house and a woman came out of the residence, hit her, and started yelling for her boyfriend.
• 1:07 p.m. — An Española Family Dollar caller said she was assaulted by a customer, who threw a bottle of hair spray at her.
• 4:44 p.m. — A Walgreen’s caller said a woman stole a bottle of tequila from the store.
• 7:33 p.m. — A State Road 554 caller said there was a fight at the Catholic church in El Rito.
• 10:27 p.m. — A Highway 74 caller complained that his neighbors were shooting fireworks and he was tired of it because they do that every Sunday.
