OD Blown Off
Monday, Nov. 15
• 1:57 a.m. — A Private Drive 1619 caller said there was a break-in in the neighborhood the night before and there appeared to be one going on again. She said people were standing around a home shining flashlights in it.
• 8:07 a.m. — A caller from the Española city compound on North Railroad Avenue said someone stole an air compressor out of the back of a pickup truck.
• 8:46 a.m. — A Wal-Mart caller said he confronted a shoplifter and the man pulled out a screwdriver. When he did this, the screwdriver struck the man in the chin.
• 11:21 a.m. — A North Central Solid Waste caller said a compactor motor was stolen from a sub station in El Rito.
• 11:30 a.m. — A County Road 2 caller said someone overdosed on cocaine, but when someone from Dispatch asked her what her address was, she said “Nevermind,” and hung up the phone. Santa Clara Police later said no one had overdosed.
• 12:34 p.m. — An Española Hospital caller said a drunk man was trying to get into the building and fighting with staff there.
• 3:35 p.m. — A State Road 74 caller said her cousin, who was on probation, just came to her house and stole her electric chain saw.
Bunk Bomb Threat On Deadline
Tuesday, Nov. 16
• 9:03 a.m. — Dispatch took a call from a Casa De Corazón man whom they originally thought was reporting an assault. It was later learned the man was complaining about a juvenile who left a rake in the road.
• 9:38 a.m. — A Fairview Strip Mall caller said a man tried climbing the fence, fell and was lying behind a dumpster. The man was taken to the hospital.
• 10:27 a.m. — A Canada Court caller said she ran some juveniles off who were drinking outside. When she woke up this morning, the window to her car was broken.
• 2:27 p.m. — A Triple S gas station caller said a car full of drunk men were harassing a female employee.
• 3:26 p.m. — An Española Northern New Mexico College caller said he received a bomb threat in which someone said that everyone “had 15 minutes.” No bombs were found.
• 3:27 p.m. — A County Road 44 caller said his girlfriend was throwing pictures of his daughter outside of his trailer.
• 4:23 p.m. — A Canada Court caller said juveniles were on the corner of her block and throwing rocks at her car as she drove past.

Wednesday, Nov. 17
• 12:33 a.m. — A man Wal-Mart staff believed had a pocket knife on him, was stealing several bottles of cologne from the store.
• 10:57 a.m. — A Vista Del Rio Apartments caller said a fence had been defaced by graffiti. The graffiti said “Surinos MC” and “Norteños.”
• 11:43 a.m. — A State Road 554 caller said the grill to his car was damaged because dogs crawled inside it to get to his cats.
• 12:01 p.m. — A Wal-Mart caller said some men were walking up to people in the parking lot and trying to sell them perfume.
• 1:29 p.m. — A North Railroad Avenue caller said an old man was standing in the street with his pants down around his ankles.
• 4:31 p.m. — A County Road 83 caller said his neighbor moved away about two years ago and now his empty house was destroyed and full of used needles.
• 4:40 p.m. — A Center Market caller said a group of suspicious-looking men were staring at women while they loaded their groceries.
• 5:57 p.m. — A Vista De Corral caller said a horse had been lying in an arroyo all day. She thought the horse was dead, saying people had been dumping dead horses in the arroyo.

• 11:25 a.m. — An F & A Car wash caller said men wearing beanies and Raiders jackets stole a wedding ring she took off and set down for a moment.
• 1:09 p.m. — A Bubble Zone caller complained someone was passed out drunk behind the business. Police transported one man to the jail for detox.
• 1:45 p.m. — A Camino De Roberto caller said her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend came over to her home and broke all the windows.
• 5:31 p.m. — An Ohkay Travel Center caller said a woman’s purse was stolen from her car.
• 7:48 p.m. — A Calle Del Alamo caller said a woman and a man and his girlfriend were at her home throwing rocks. Police took one person in for detox.
• 7:53 p.m. — A Private Drive 1083 caller said she had a toothache and a swollen face from an allergic reaction. She said there were some kind of pellets in her yard.
• 8:28 p.m. — A teacher with the Española Northern New Mexico College saw a man run up to a vehicle with a garbage can. He did not know if there was anything inside the can.

Friday, Nov. 19
• 12:40 a.m. — A woman was at McDonald’s, where she said another female kicked her in the face.
• 7:23 a.m. — A Santo Niño lane caller said a man was sitting on his front porch and waving a gun at cars as they passed.
• 10 a.m. — A Toby’s Sports caller said someone broke the window to the Mar Iguana skate shop. Police took a report of criminal damaging and shoplifting.
• 12:35 p.m. — A Calle Quintana woman said her son was refusing to listen to her and go to school. Dispatch logs stated the son was going to school with his mother following behind him.
• 1:26 p.m. — A U.S. Highway 64 caller said an unknown type of liquid was spraying out of a trailer.
• 1:57 p.m. — An Española High School caller said he had information that there would be a gang fight between the North Side gang and the Mexican Clique.
• 2:06 p.m. — A Private Drive 1798 caller claimed there were 100 cows on the road.
• 3 p.m. — A Lower San Pedro Road caller said people robbed his neighbors house and threw out a VCR and some shoes by his home.
• 4:12 p.m. — A Fairview Lane caller said a man pulled a knife on two juveniles who were walking to school and threw a bottle at them.

Saturday, Nov. 20
• 12:56 a.m. — An Avenida Canada caller wanted help getting a man out of an apartment. The man in the apartment had been evicted 28 days ago and was still sleeping there.
• 7:58 a.m. — A Calle De Los Amigos caller said she went to start up her car and found it had been broken into and things were thrown all over inside.
• 12:46 p.m. — A La Joya Street caller said her son was intoxicated, did not want to go to sleep and kept yelling at her.
• 1:30 p.m. — A U.S. Highway 84 caller said someone broke into her home and stole her 50-inch flat screen television.
• 1:43 p.m. — An Avenida Canada caller said a man was swinging a bat at cars in the area.
• 2:01 p.m. — A County Road 39 caller said an 11-month-old child swallowed a jaw breaker, which was stuck in his throat. The child could breathe and started crawling around again, leading the caller to believe he was fine.
• 3:04 p.m. — A Calle Delfina caller said a large German Shepherd attacked her Chihuahua.

Sunday, Nov. 21
• 1:15 a.m. — A County Road 101 woman said her husband came home drunk, started “acting crazy” and tried to fight with her. She told dispatch she would give it some time to see if he fell asleep.
• 1:24 a.m. — A County Road 135 caller said she could not deal with her son because he was being disrespectful. She said he was calling a friend to pick him up when she did not want him to leave.
• 9:54 a.m. — A Delta Bar caller said someone broke out the window to the business the night before, came in and stole whiskey bottles.
• 3:27 p.m. — A Wal-Mart caller said a man was filing fraudulent returns and stealing jackets. — The caller said this man recently pulled a gun on an employee.
• 3:24 p.m. — A Rock Christian Fellowship caller reported a drunk man who was standing inside the courtyard and screaming obscenities.
