Dog Buried at Sea
Monday, May 23
• 12:10 a.m. — A Red’s Steak House caller said two drunk men were in front of the restaurant and she was afraid they were going to “break.” She said they were “talking crazy.”
• 2:14 a.m. — A Wal-Mart caller said she wanted to kill herself or someone else. The caller said she was sexually assaulted and kicked out of her residence that day.
• 12:53 p.m. — A County Road 21 caller said someone broke into her home and stole a bucket of quarters.
• 3:30 p.m. — A Santa Cruz Country Store caller said someone threw a dead dog off the bridge by the river.
• 7:15 p.m. — A Private Drive 1542 caller said her friend was knocked out by a horse.
• 8:17 p.m. — A Hamm Parkway caller said a man beat her up and left her on Hamm Parkway before leaving in a blue Grand-Am. The woman complained of neck pain and scrapes to her knee.
• 8:36 p.m. — A State Road 110 caller said she was being harassed by another woman, who was telling her that she would get her and that she should commit suicide.

Tuesday, May 24
• 12:07 a.m. — A Calle Quintana caller said she could hear someone moving stuff around in her back room and she was home alone.
• 7:36 a.m. — An Arroyo Seco caller said he had a gun to his head and didn’t want to live. The caller said he was tried of being abused by the State Police, the sheriff and the Española police. The call was transferred to Santa Fe County and dispatchers advised the Rio Arriba County Sheriff’s Department of the call.
• 11:01 a.m. — A Private Drive 1444 caller said her ex set her neighbor’s car on fire in her yard the night before. The caller said she woke up and her car’s tires were slashed.
• 1:36 p.m. — A Gould Lane caller said she was at her friends house and was attacked by “some chick,” a short, chubby Hispanic woman.
• 4:48 p.m. — A County Road 42 caller said her home was broken into. The caller said the burglars had tried to break in at least four times and succeeded at least two other times.

Wednesday, May 25
• 8:33 a.m. — A Domino’s Pizza caller said someone in a green Jeep tried to run him over. The victim knew the people inside the Jeep and said he had a fight with them about two months ago.
• 11:31 a.m. — A Harley Lane caller said someone broke into his house and stole several Harley-Davidson items.
• 5:15 p.m. — A State Road 76 caller said there were six suspicious guys in Chimayó. The caller thought they “roughed up” someone.
• 6:53 p.m. — A State Road 399 caller said he was at his parents’ house and didn’t want them to know he called dispatch. The caller said he thought his parents were poisoning his food and poisoning him while he slept. He said he thought they were upset that he hadn’t moved out. The man had a panic attack.

Thursday, May 26
• 7:18 a.m. — A Cooks Mobile Home Park caller said her daughter’s boyfriend kept calling her cell phone and harassing and threatening her. The man was accusing his girlfriend of being on drugs.
• 7:25 a.m. — An R&E Glass caller said someone egged the business.
• 8:38 a.m. — A North Orchard Lane caller said a man kept coming to her home and ringing the doorbell and she wanted him picked up. She didn’t want to make contact with the police because she didn’t want her son to know she was the one who called.
• 11:14 a.m. — A County Road 56A caller said someone he used to go to school with was threatening to come to his home in Chamita and beat him.
• 11:16 a.m. — A Santa Cruz Post Office caller saw two cars and someone stuck a rifle out of the driver’s window out of one of the cars. Police got another 911 call said a black car was chasing a gold Grand Prix and gold Neon. The caller saw what appeared to be a sawed off shotgun.
• 12:12 p.m. — A Paseo De Paulina caller said his son was beat by another man. The caller said his son was trying to leave, but he couldn’t because someone kept hitting him.

Friday, May 27
• 9:07 a.m. — A caller at The Works Day Spa & Salon said it appeared the shop’s windows had been shot out with a BB gun. Española Police officers reported there was more damage done at Sisneros Car & Truck Center. Windows to vehicles parked there were broken.
• 11:31 a.m. — A Bank of America caller said there were two men sitting on the wall by Toby’s Sports. She said as she was entering her vehicle, one of the men came running toward her, but backed off once she was inside.
• 12:30 p.m. — A Bonecutter Lane caller said he went to his brother’s home because his brother was hitting his pregnant girlfriend. The brother then started fighting with the caller. Police said they arrested one person for aggravated battery against a household member.
• 12:58 p.m. — A Calle Serrano caller said a female was crying and saying the baby was dead. Police learned the woman was crying over a dead cat.
• 4:41 p.m. — A County Road 58 caller said he has property in El Guique and people were cutting his alfalfa grass in the field. The caller said this happened a year ago and he took them to court.
Picnic or Fist-Fight?
Saturday, May 28
• 11:09 a.m. — A Wal-Mart caller said she stopped a woman from stealing a home theater system out the back door of the store and the woman threatened her, telling her to “watch her back.”
• 1:26 p.m. — A Corlett Road caller said her niece beat up her daughter. She said they were getting money to pick up food and they started fighting.
• 2:34 p.m. — A Highway 84 caller said there were youths throwing rocks toward the roadway and they broke the caller’s window.
• 3:05 p.m. — A Calle Quintana Caller said a man and a woman drove into a neighbor’s yard in a small car. The couple were fighting and the woman had a knife in her hand.
• 7:53 p.m. — A McCurdy School caller said there was a group of about 15 boys outside of the cafeteria and it looked like they were going to fight. The caller said some of the boys had their shirts off. Police spoke to the group, who said they were having a picnic and there wasn’t a fight. Police spoke to the caller, who said there was no fight but she asked them to leave.

Sunday, May 29
• 12:26 a.m. — A Heron Lake caller said there were two adult bears in the area of the Rincon campground.
• 3:14 p.m. — A San Pedro Plaza caller said there was someone in the bathroom who was screaming on the phone and crying. The woman said she tried to overdose the night before. Police called for an ambulance because the woman was suicidal.
• 6:13 p.m. — A County Road 87 caller, who said he was handicapped, said someone stole $20 from his hand.
• 6:20 p.m. — A Dreamcatcher Cinema caller said someone riding a gray “crotch rocket” motorcycle drove past at 110 mph.
• 7:01 p.m. — A Wendy’s caller said someone broke the windows out of a red Lincoln. Police took another report of a fight in front of Dairy Queen in the middle of the road. A man armed with a rock was chasing another man.
