Monday, Jan. 10
• 1:04 a.m. — A Tesuque Court caller reported three cars sitting nearby with their lights off. Someone inside one of the cars was screaming obscenities at her husband.
• 5:23 a.m. — A Calle Don Eduardo caller said she was using the bathroom and she saw a man through her window watching her.
• 11:43 a.m. — A North Prince Drive caller said someone was at his home trying to sell a truck, jewelry and guns, which he thought were stolen.
• 4:32 p.m. — A Calle Don Alfredo caller said a white truck with a crane on it came to his home and tore the roof off his building.
• 5:43 p.m. — A Carr Lane caller said a man who stuck him with a needle the day before was back in his house and sleeping on his love seat. Police spoke to the man and said he was hallucinating. They called for an ambulance and noted he was getting a psychological evaluation.
• 7:10 p.m. — A Wal-Mart caller said there was a fight in the electronics section between a woman and two men. One of the men had tattoos on the back of his head and eyelids.
• 9:22 p.m. — A Private Drive 1659 caller who was on an ankle bracelet said a man shot at him. He later said there were two women fighting inside his house. Deputies spoke with both people, who agreed to separate for the night.

Tuesday, Jan. 11
• 3:04 a.m. — A County Road 78 caller said someone in a gray hoodie was outside of her house. She said she could see footprints by her daughter’s window.
• 10:34 p.m. — A State Road 76 caller said a man was walking in the middle of the road and trying to get in front of cars.
• 2:20 p.m. — A County Road 37 caller said his girlfriend stabbed him in the hand.
• 4:12 p.m. — A Vietnam Veteran’s Road caller said she was having a Narcotics Anonymous meeting and a car full of women drove up and started threatening her.
• 4:25 p.m. — A West Pueblo Street caller said her dog house was flipped over and she found her dog dead in the front yard.
• 4:26 p.m. — A Wal-Mart caller said a man was pushing a vehicle against a wall. They said the man was drunk and eating “all the food in the store.” Police arrested the man and put a spit cover over his mouth because he was “spitting every which way.” The man was taken into detox.
Boyfriend Successfully Shows Off
Wednesday, Jan. 12
• 8 a.m. — A Fairview Lane caller said her home was shot the night before and she noticed her car window was broken when she went to take her daughter to school.
• 8:03 a.m. — A Middle San Pedro Road caller said someone with a paring knife tried breaking into his home. The suspect ran away.
• 11:25 a.m. — A Calle Adelante caller said she got a call from her ex-husband and could hear her children screaming, “No, Daddy! No!” in the background. She said the man swore at them and told them to shut up.
• 3:55 p.m. — A Sleepy Hollow caller reported a “bunch” of teenagers were fighting in an arroyo.
• 4:15 p.m. — A Valdez Park caller reported a domestic dispute in which a male and female were pushing each other. The fight started when the female thought the man was ignoring her, but she didn’t realize the man didn’t hear her because he had his headphones on.
• 7:16 p.m. — A Spruce Street caller said she and her boyfriend found a man trying to break into vehicles and her boyfriend chased the man away.

Thursday, Jan. 13
• 9:06 a.m. — An Ohkay Casino caller said a man was doing narcotics in his car in the parking lot. The casino staff contacted tribal officers, and the man was banned from the casino.
• 12:13 p.m. — A Milagro Mobile Home Park caller complained his neighbors were selling things from his yard including lengths of a chain link fence.
• 12:32 p.m. — A County Road 14 caller said her mother fell and she had bones sticking out of her arm and leg. The caller was getting upset with emergency dispatch operators, saying they were asking her “stupid questions.”
• 5:15 p.m. — A County Road 52 caller said someone broke into his house and stole his television. He thought the suspect was still inside, so he waited outside until police could arrive.
• 5:52 p.m. — An El Llano Road caller reported some wrapped gifts near a stop sign by the Española Valley High School, which he thought were suspicious.
• 6:28 p.m. — A Lowe’s Home Improvement caller said he saw a man walking away from the store carrying an air compressor, which he set down beside Eatza Pizza and left. The police returned the compressor to the store.
• 7:06 p.m. — A Wendy’s caller complained about an intoxicated man who was in the restaurant eating another person’s food. The man was taken by an ambulance to sober up.

Friday, Jan. 14
• 8:52 a.m. — Dispatch took a call about a knife that was found in a student. The dispatcher corrected himself shortly after, stating the knife was found on a student, not in a student.
• 9:05 a.m. — A Montana Vista Street caller said her boyfriend was off his medication and she was afraid he might hit her. She said he was “very grouchy” when he woke up.
• 10 a.m. — A Denton Street caller said a strange dog attacked her dog and there was “blood all over the yard.”
• 11:45 a.m. — A Hindi Shell Station caller said two women ran out of the store with a 30-pack of beer each.
• 1:45 a.m. — A County Road 1 caller said her cousin was beaten up after he and his friends were inside a residence breaking things. She said her cousin had no clothes on and blood all over him.
• 5:54 p.m. — A manager at Lowe’s Supersave said panhandlers were arguing with two managers who were scared “because both managers are girls.”

Saturday, Jan. 15
• 3:30 a.m. — A County Road 43 caller said a man staying at her house took her phone and hit her while she was holding her daughter. She said the man tried to spray her with mace.
• 9:32 p.m. — An Old Hospital Road caller said his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend was coming to his home and trying to fight him.
• 11:48 a.m. — A Hoy Recovery Center caller said a gang member was flashing his colors to a rival gang member. She asked for an officer to stand by after class let out.
• 6:51 p.m. — An officer on Highway 84 picked up a man who was reported to be intoxicated but was just cold. The officer gave the man a ride into Española.
• 7:08 p.m. — A Po Pay Avenue caller said her boyfriend was hitting her. Dispatch noted the woman was screaming and yelling and said she was pregnant.
• 9:59 p.m. — A Lujan Lane caller said a drunk man was on the ground and rolling around near the intersection.
• 11:18 p.m. — A County Road 137C caller said there were people in 10 cars chasing each other up and down the road. The caller could hear gunshots. Police responded to the call and said, “Apparently, there was a birthday party.”
Laserpointer Gag Enters Third Decade
Sunday, Jan. 16
• 9:52 a.m. — A Las Lomas Apartments caller said wastewater was squirting out of a manhole cover.
• 12:33 p.m. — A Walgreen’s caller said someone shoplifted a bottle of Captain Morgan’s rum from the store.
• 2:10 p.m. — An El Guique Road caller said his brother was on narcotics and stole a car.
• 2:13 p.m. — A White Swan Road caller said a group of children went through his yard and “did something” to his dog.
• 4:54 p.m. — A Vista Del Rio Apartments caller said two kids were shooting rocks at cars with a slingshot. During this call, police learned a pit bull bit a child on the arm. The officer said the dog was acting aggressive still and may have to be shot. The logs do not state whether the officer shot the dog.
• 5:22 p.m. — A County Road 78 caller said people tried to break into her home and people inside the home shot at them.
• 6:05 p.m. — A County Road 78 caller said someone was shooting in her yard. She said if law enforcement didn’t get there soon “blood is going to go all over.”
• 6:23 p.m. — An East Pueblo Street caller said someone was pointing a red laser light at passing cars.
