Noisy Kids, Drunks and Livestock
Monday, Aug. 2
• 12:03 a.m. — A Camino Carlos caller said a drunk man was outside her house yelling and honking a car horn.
• 4:32 a.m. — A Paseo de Paulina caller said she went to visit her friend and found him on the floor with a large laceration to his head. The man refused medical treatment.
• 9:39 a.m. — A Walmart caller said there was an 80-or-90-year-old man in the store who was disoriented and didn’t know where he was.
• 12:09 p.m. — A Birch Lane caller complained about crowing roosters.
• 2:49 p.m. — A Camino Cielo Grande caller said a boyfriend and girlfriend were fighting with each other in the street.
• 6:24 p.m. — A Vista Del Rio Apartments caller complained about children in the apartment upstairs who were running and jumping.
• 9:11 p.m. — A Highway 68 caller complained about a drunk man carrying a cup and staggering all over the road.
Bad Pick Up Line
Tuesday, Aug. 3
• 12:49 a.m. — A Calle de Pajarito caller said there was a fight beside the basketball courts and someone was taking off their shirt.
• 5:02 a.m. — A Calle Celestino caller said a female was outside screaming and getting hit by a male. He said there was a large fight but it was too dark to see.
• 10:47 a.m. — An Española High School caller said parents were screaming profanities at each other in front of their children.
• 1:40 p.m. — A North Central Solid Waste employee said he was picking up garbage on Santa Clara Drive, when the trash container fell, bounced and damaged a vehicle.
• 2:05 p.m. — A North Riverside Drive caller saw two men beating up a man in a truck.
• 6:58 p.m. — A man and a woman were accused of stealing baby clothes from Walmart and the man tried to fight a store staff member when they were caught.
• 7:02 p.m. — A Calle Algodones woman complained that her neighbor asked her to have sex with him for $20.
• 8:16 p.m. — San Pedro Sonic callers complained that a man was on narcotics and kept trying to walk inside the business, even though the staff kept throwing him out.
• 10:23 p.m. — A North Riverside Drive caller said people were going around the Wendy’s parking lot trying to open doors to cars.
Lousy Friend
Wednesday, Aug. 4
• 12:18 a.m. — A North Paseo de Oñate caller said he loaned his car to a friend and it wasn’t returned. He said his friend had access to his house keys and work uniform.
• 8:59 a.m. — A Vista Los Cerros caller said there was a 60-year-old woman who was intoxicated, hysterical and might hurt herself. The woman said she does not have any energy.
• 11:11 a.m. — A Sheriff’s deputy confronted some 12-year-old Calle Del Sol children about a broken window. They admitted to breaking the window and their parents said they would pay for it.
• 12:01 p.m. — A Sunset Drive caller reported seeing a stray peacock in the area.
• 3:04 p.m. — A Los Arboles Court caller complained about a drunk man who had his pants down.
• 3:15 p.m. — A Walmart caller said a group of minors were in the parking lot on bikes drinking alcohol.
• 3:56 p.m. — A State Road 110 caller said her grandchildren found a rattlesnake in the house.
Drunk or CIA?
Thursday, Aug. 5
• 12:28 a.m. — A Walmart caller complained that two men were harassing him and his wife in the parking lot, then they started making out.
• 12:59 a.m. — An Española Hospital caller said there was a man standing by the helicopter pad claiming to be from the CIA. Dispatch logs note that one person was being transported to the Española Jail for detox.
• 7:50 a.m. — A La Joya Street caller said a manhole cover was sticking up and damaged his Lexus when he ran over it.
• 10:17 a.m. — A Walgreen’s’ caller complained someone forged a prescription for Lortabs.
• 10:20 a.m. — A Highway 64/84 caller said a large bear was standing in a field next to a tractor sign.
• 10:54 a.m. — A Private Drive 1013 caller complained he was at a friend’s house and they stole money from his wallet.
• 11:07 a.m. — A Private Drive 1605 caller said his horse has been “down” since the day before and the caller wanted to know if he could shoot it.
• 3:18 p.m. — A “huge” evergreen tree fell on an unoccupied Valley Drive house following a storm, logs state.
• 4:58 p.m. — A North Riverside Drive caller saw a possibly drunk man crossing the road and eating a lollypop.
• 5:17 p.m. — A Calle Chavez caller complained that someone working on his car offered to sell him some “white” and he said he didn’t want those kind of people working on his vehicle.
• 10:58 p.m. — A Spruce Street caller said a woman was bit on her right buttocks by the neighbor’s dog.

Friday, Aug. 6
• 12:59 a.m. — An Allsup’s caller complained that an intoxicated man was “losing his money” and unable to stand.
• 6:25 a.m. — A Private Drive 1062 caller said there was a pitbull wearing a chain that was stuck in her gate. She was afraid to free it. She was told there were no deputies to go out to the call and animal control officers do not go out before 8 a.m. unless it is an emergency. The woman became angry and asked why she pays “all this money” for people to do nothing. She then asked if she could shoot the dog. She continued arguing and animal control was called three minutes later and said they would be there shortly.
• 9:14 a.m. — Someone who was threatening suicide said he wanted to shoot himself with a Glock handgun. The male was “on treatment for Oxycontin.”
• 9:35 a.m. — A Triple S caller complained that people were “shooting up” in the parking lot.
• 11:34 a.m. — A Hamm Parkway caller said she was threatened by a man who almost hit her vehicle.
• 1:02 p.m. — A North Riverside Drive caller complained that there was a panhandler who was getting irate with people when they would not give him anything.
• 2:38 p.m. — A man wearing a bandana with “three dots” under his eye stole computer software from Walmart, logs state.
• 5:57 p.m. — A Hindi Shell Station caller said two men in a tan Cadillac pulled a gun on her.
• 7:45 p.m. — A U.S. Highway 64/84 caller said she cut the tip of her finger off and she was trying to stop the bleeding with a cloth.
• 9:18 p.m. — A Dairy Queen on North Riverside Drive caller said a man was standing in the bathroom throwing knives. Police came and found the man had a screwdriver, not a knife.
Pitbull Enraged, Waiting
Saturday, Aug. 7
• 1:01 a.m. — A State Road 554 caller said he was crossing a river when he fell and cut his wrist on a broken bottle. He said he was feeling dizzy and cold. The man was transported to Española Hospital.
• 2:41 a.m. — A Lopez Lane caller told State Police her home was broken into and someone stole her son’s laptop.
• 3:08 a.m. — A Sunset Drive caller complained people were throwing rocks and dogs were barking in the neighborhood.
• 9:56 a.m. — A State Road 75 caller said a bear was in a tree on her property and it was making her nervous.
• 10:30 p.m. — A Santuario De Chimayó caller said there was a man in the parking lot trying to break into cars.
• 1:01 p.m. — A Ricardo Lane caller came home and found a tire to her vehicle was missing.
• 1:35 p.m. — A West Pueblo Street caller said she was chased by a pitbull, which then stood outside her home.
• 2:22 p.m. — A Walmart caller said someone stole a grill.
• 4:19 p.m. — A County Road 87 caller said a .308 and a .38 special gun and medication were burglarized from his home.
• 10:06 p.m. — A RHOC Express caller said two men were trying to buy gas with a stolen credit card.

• 12:38 a.m. — A Dreamcatcher Theater caller complained that a man was in the area carrying a large amount of cocaine.
• 9:23 a.m. — An Ash Loop caller said her home was broken into and jewelry and a drill were missing.
• 1:57 p.m. — An Ohkay Travel Center caller said two men were fighting over a vehicle.
• 4:21 p.m. — A Lower San Pedro Road caller complained that people were selling drugs by the dog pound.
• 8:25 p.m. — A Simmons Lane caller said a drunk man was “going crazy and breaking windows.”
• 11:28 p.m. — A Radio Shack caller said there was a ladder propped against the back of the building for the past few months.
