Monday, May 11

    • 9:06 a.m. — A Pajarito Mobile Homes employee requested to have a man removed from the parking lot. It turned out to be a civil dispute regarding a used trailer.

    • 11:04 a.m. — A Calle Duran caller said when she was gone the previous weekend someone wrote on her windows and on her garbage can in orange gooey paint. She said she believed it was retaliation for calling the police on some children shooting at some calves, because their mother had been harassing her since then. Police took a report for criminal damage to property.

    • 11:42 p.m. — A Calle Jose Pablo caller said her 10-year-old daughter was yelling and causing problems at the house. The mother said her daughter had repeatedly refused to go to bed and was playing a video game. Police assisted the mother.

    • 7:39 a.m. — An Española Valley High School employee said a student was refusing to go to the principal’s office. Police determined the student didn’t commit a crime; he just wouldn’t take off his hairnet.

    • 10:19 a.m. — A Highway 84/285 caller said her uncle was misbehaving and throwing things in the house. He was detoxed.

    • 2:13 p.m. — A man reported his tire fell off on Fairview Lane. He said he had just come from Pep Boys and they put only one lug nut on the tire. Police took a report.

    • 5:07 p.m. — A County Road 270 caller said when he got home his wife accused him of doing things he hadn’t been doing. He said his wife threw food in the kitchen and left with their children. No report was wanted.

Wednesday, May 13

    • 11:45 a.m. — A La Puebla caller said his neighbor had been bitten by a pit bull that was roaming the neighborhood. Animal control had talked to the owner but nothing was done about the dog, the caller claimed. Eventually, the dog was tied up, and the victim didn’t want anything else done to it.

    • 12:13 p.m. — A Calle Celestino caller said he was going through a divorce and wanted to get his tools because he thought his wife was selling them. The call was canceled.

    • 12:21 p.m. — A La Joya Street caller said a man was taking pictures of him and yelling. He was advised to get a restraining order against the photographer.

    • 2:09 p.m. — A caller said a man holding an umbrella was riding a wheelchair down Lower San Pedro Road. Police couldn’t find him.

    • 6:03 a.m. — A State Road 76 caller said a man was yelling outside her house. The man told police he was being harassed. No report was taken.

    • 4:25 p.m. — An Ojo Caliente caller said he had lent his son his 1998 GMC Sierra and his son called and told him it was stolen. Police took a report.

    • 5:55 p.m. — A State Road 74 caller said someone’s grandmother pulled her hair. It was determined to be a civil dispute between a landlord and a tenant.

    • 6:11 p.m. — A County Road 42 caller said her neighbors hadn’t been home in a long time and their dog had puppies. She said the puppies weren’t nursing from the mother anymore, and appeared to be eating a dead animal in the yard. Animal control was contacted.

Friday, May 15

    • 7:38 a.m. — A State Road 74 caller said someone stole a cement mixer the previous night. The cement mixer belonged to a Mexican immigrant who didn’t want to make a report.        

    • 11:36 a.m. — A Highway 84/285 caller said her husband hired some people to clean their camper trailer, and the women were getting in the middle of their marriage. The man was advised to stay away from the home until the situation calmed down.

    • 4:30 p.m. — A South Coronado Avenue caller said a burglar took two hoes, a snake and two heaters from their home. Police took a report.

    • 7:00 p.m. — A caller said a drunk man in a banged-up car was freaking out and yelling at people in front of Stop-and-Eat. Police assisted with the situation.

Saturday, May 16

    • 10:55 a.m. — A Highway 84 caller said his wife took his Percocets and went hitchhiking to Tierra Amarilla. The woman couldn’t be found by law enforcement officers.

    • 10:40 p.m. — A Wal-Mart employee said some people backed up a truck to the garden center, loaded it up and took off. Police were advised to be on the lookout for the alleged thieves.

Sunday, May 17

    • 8:28 a.m. — A woman said her husband was riding a bicycle from San Diego, Calif., to Washington D.C., at the rate of about 50 miles per day. Twice per day, he called her with his location, but she hadn’t heard from him since May 15, when he was in Pagosa Springs, Colo. After officers were advised to be on the lookout, someone thought they spotted him in Tierra Amarilla. The traveling man turned out to still be in Colorado, according to dispatch logs.

    • 4:18 p.m. — A South Riverside Drive caller said her sister was going crazy and hitting her. 911 dispatchers could hear the sister yelling in the background of the call.
